San Andrés - Colombia Data sheet

Gents, I am chugging my last Club Colombia at El Dorado´s airport before taking off to Santiago. Please see below a report on San Andrés island:

Overview - 1 month trip DOLO in Colombia:

Bogotá: 5 days
Manizales, Pereira & Armenia: 5 days
Medellín: 5 days
Cartagena: 5 days
Santa Marta: 2 days
Bucaramanga: 3 days
San Andrés: 4 days

I speak spanish fluently (Chile) and I travel constantly to Colombia for work (5-6 times a year) so I manage pretty well in the country. I am 5 foot 8, athletic, young and with a lot to learn still.

Bangs: 1 (The only place I have been able to Bang in Colombia) I bang one chic in Medellín but it was $240.000 pesos so it does not go on my excel sheet.

Make outs: 5-7 (100% grinding to Reggaeton music)

About San Andrés:

Small island in the middle of the Caribbean ocean, 60.000 inhabitants, full of tourists, mostly Argentineans, Chileans, Uruguayeans and Brazilians. Locals not so nice, city is a shitthole, very dirty, locals do not give a shit. Beaches are nice and peaceful. Expensive for Colombian standards, eventhough there is no tax. Good place for shopping (Perfumes 20% less than Airport).

Before doing anything, get yourself a scooter. I paid like $40.000 pesos, nobody wears helments. You can also rent a boogie or a golf kart to move around. I chose the bike since it was easier to get around and because I ride. Not so safe to ride there though. If you don´t ride a motorcycle, get a Kawasaki 2 seat boogie for $70.000 COP.

1. Girls: Eventhough I hang out with some nice looking locals, there are mostly 5´s and 6´s. Not some much hot local ass in San Andrés. Mostly black Creole looking girls.

1.1 Tourist pussy: Very nice overall, tons of nice Argentineans and Brazileans. Not europeans at all. Lots of 7´s and 8´s walking down on their thongs on the beach everyday. Tons of Colombian MILFS.

How to get there?

LAN, AVIANCA & COPA. Average ticket from Bogotá to San Andrés (U$150). You can also flight from Nicaragua trhough Copa Airlines.

Main clubs:

1. Coco Loco: No cover charge, biggest club by far, 2 dance floors, 2 terraces with ocean view. Tourists go there, not many locals. Expensive for Colombia (U$8 dollars for Rum and Coke) U$4 for a beer. What most people do is that they go in, go out, get stamped and then get shit faced on the beach next door. (Tons of local liquor stores selling beer for nothing) I think I spent U$15 on friday just on a big bottle of Agua Ardiente Antioqueña (What everybody drinks in Colombia) Is like a type of Turkish Raki or Zambuca. Taste like anis, 29 proof. This will get you going. I got 2 or 3 beers at the club. I left the place at 4:30am so it goes a long way. After party usually at the beach.

2. Extasis:

More locals, small place, check it out but stick to Coco-Loco. No cover charge

3. Banzai:

Go there if you like reggae music and get high. Terrible place for picking up. I got there and had a good time, only because I like to get high and dance rastafara music maybe once a year.

4. Majía: Chill out place. Terrible food and service. No talent at all. Don´t go there.

Where to stay?

Hotel by the beach or hostel. I stayed at the Coco plum hotel 1 night (Right on the beach, nice for relaxing, shitty for picking up). There are many nice hotels, trust me choose a hostel.

Hostels:

1. El Viajero. The place to stay definetly. Not so cheap, nice environment, get a private room! I paid 65.000 COP per night. Tons of talent there. Place has a bar!

2. Blue Marlin. Place is small but cozy and cheap. Terrible location.

What to do?

I went diving, snorkeling, took a couple of taxi boats to some islands and got myself a bike to visit the other attractions (Hoyo soplador, pirats cave,etc...) You can do everything in 2 days.

How to game?

The best way for me was to small talk with the targets on the boat tours (15-20 min shitty ride, everybody gets wet and touchy on the boats). The island is so small that everybody you meet on the islands/tours/diving activities, most likely will be getting drunk at Coco-Loco at night. Plant some seeds and you will see the results at night time.

Fashion:

Surfer style. Do not dress classy here, too hot, most places do not have air conditioning. I was on shorts and Polo shirt or Tank top and Flip flops most of the time. Fluor tank tops and nice shades are a must. I wear some baseball caps also.

The bang:

Met this nice chic from Porto Alegre in Jhony caye island. I sat next to her on the boat, chit chat, got a couple of beers on the island. We arrange to meet at night at the club, we met, grind for an hour, then left for the beach, got into the water, heavy make out, police had to come and told us to leave (Police in Colombia dont give a shit usually but I was rubbing her silicone tits next to them so I guess they got a bit jealous). Went to my private room and bang. Standard Palo Alto recipe. It was easy as fuck now that I think of bit. I was a bit drunk so i had to take a Cialis on the way back to the hostel.

What not to do:

1. Don´t stay too far from the clubbing area. (Downtown)
2. Get yourself some wheels as soon as you land.

Should I recommend San Andrés? If you go there only to get pussy, no way. If you like outdoors activities and enjoy diving and swiming then YES.

Will I ever come back? Probably COPA charges something like 15,000 miles return flight from Bogotá, not bad at all.

Palo_Alto 420 advice: Go to the big pond during afternoon time and meet Kari /Rastafara there. They give you a *tour* trhough the pond for 5.000 COP. You will come back flying to the hostel.

Any questions, hit me up. I will put up data sheets on Iquitos, Montañita, Baños and Valparaíso as soon as I have time.

Later

The harder you practice, the luckier you get.

San Andrés - Colombia Data sheet

PD : Do NOT flash your valuables, anywhere. Back in the 80s, a huge asshole of a politician took over a thousand people from one of the worst places in Colombia and transplanted them to the Island, they reproduced and hate work, therefore they are a big crime vector. There ARE big gangs in the town, avoid El Cliff, La Loma and sometimes Juan XXIII (even though my uncle lives there).

Enjoy San Andres!
