I've been wondering for awhole about that topic so I decided to finally make a thread about that.
The term "western" and "Western men/women" if of common usage on this board.. for example the statement "Russian girls tend to value western men" do they mean with "western":
1) Anglo men: American,Canadian Australian, British, etc.
2) Northern/Western european men: Dutch, German, Scandinavian, etc
3) Mediterranean men: Spanish, Italian, greek, Portuguese,etc
Which one? DO they consider south America as western too? Since quite a few southern european countries aren't a world apart from spain or italy, specially when you forget about the huge geographical distance and focus on culture, social dynamics and looks of many peope. In the same Way the Uk is more similar to Australia or even the US in the game/dating department than they are to their neighbours in the continent.
Its a question that beared my mind since I think too many people unawaredly refers to Western men as American, Aussie, British, even if they like to add Western Europe, the cases dont apply most of the times to both of those areas.
I think all those groups are very different from eachother, the social dynamics and looks of people are world apart. I cant understand how someone could put in the same group American and German men, since both are extremely different in attitude, social dynamic and looks-wise.
For example many women that do remain single for very long time in the Western european countries (Lets say Sweden, Holland, Germany,etc... not the UK since its more like mini America), would be asked out all time in the US or Australia, where pretty women always have boyfriends and remain single only for few days or 2 weeks at most. Women having a pile of men chasing them is not a common situtation in other Western countries outside the anglosphere, because the relationships are more relaxed and men dont battle for women.
When I meet/talk online to American and other anglo women,there is always a moment they end up bringing up another man on discussion, wether Its their ex boyfriend or someone who is already talking to them (some beta chasing her),.. anyways the point is there is always at least one other man than you in the equation, they never can be completly single, and in some cases even worse.. they have a pile of men standing on a row to have a chance with them, that simply doesnt happen anywhere else, not even with the hot women. And most of those Im speaking about women arent even hot, specially not for non-anglo standards (were arguably the bar tend to rise up, so the american 7 becomes a 5), they would be lucky to get approached once in a year somewhere else outside of the US (and the likes).
