salsa dancing in Split?

While I like going to clubs that play latino music, I rarely visit Salsa events, especially outdoor events. They're much more about attention whoring than people getting together (not to mention that girls under the watchful scrutiny of the public eye and TV cameras absolutely refuse to dance with anyone other than a hardened veteran dancer, because they fear that they might embarrass themselves).

This particular event took place last year right under my balcony. I actually had to close the windows to shut off the noise. I did walk around and open a few girls watching from the sides, but in general I didn't like the atmosphere. I'd rather go to even a packed nightclub than this event. Many others will probably like it, though.

I know the guy at 3:10, he's a kind of a big fish on the local salsa scene and has banged several girls that attend the free classes. They all changed their relationship statuses to "it's complicated" after meeting him [Image: lol.gif] He has a really great hustle going and AMOGs aggressively, major respect.

If you're ever in Split, I definitely suggest hitting up a free class at one of the salsa clubs.

I would probably hit up those salsa clubs but it's not really my thing. Mexican guys aren't really into salsa stuff as that is more of a thing for Caribbean people.
