Timeline Time.
What's your average day like? How do you spend your days. How much of it do you focus on work, game, fitness, hobbies, etc.? Do you have a routine?
For me, it goes something like this...
7AM: Wake up, breakfast, shower
8AM: Make my way to work, listen to some podcast or calming classical music along the way (or else I will rage in traffic)
9-1PM: Work
1-2PM: Lunch
2-6PM: Work
6-7PM: Make my way back, get some coffee at a coffee shop, or something relaxing
7-8PM: Gym
8-12AM: dynamic time
This works well for me, because 1) I need a set routine schedule 2) I'm not strict with the scheduling, but I like having it because it calms my nerves 3) The less thinking I have to do about my scheduling, the better. Routines work well with me. Do they for you? Let's find out.
My general viewpoint is this: The more restrictions I have in my life (whether it be scheduling, or whatever) the more creative I become. When I have too much undetermined time, the more I wonder about what I should be doing.
Perhaps it is because of the way I grew up, but I need a routine, or my lazy ass just doesn't get anything done.
