That snake is a greedy fuck. Although I imagine this is some Tom-and-Jerry shit where the Croc isn't dead, he'll just bust through the python's tail and they'll fight again.
I thought "python eats a crocodile" was going to be a metaphor of some kind but no, that's literally what happened.
I feel like that shit would be hard to digest for the snake.... Like when I eat corn.

I spent 25 days in the Australian outback training with their military. I saw some amazing shit. And learned that there's a lot of wildlife out there that will kill you. We were briefed that 11 of the world's 20 deadliest snakes are there. Whenever we did a water resupply in a stream we set out shooters/ observers for crocs, and we never got within 5 feet of the water. We would tie parachute cord to the open canteens and toss them in so they would fill up and sink. They also have 3 species of vicious ants out there that make fire ants look like pussies.

In the pictures, the croc's tail looks close to 3 feet long, but in the article it says the whole croc was 3 feet? That's kind of small innit?

The article stated that a small fresh water crocodile is considered "Easy" prey for a python. Crocodiles use that death roll, but if it were to do that on a python, unless it rips the python in half...the python would just end up rolled around its mouth and the crocodile would have a trapped mouth.

I don't understand how the alligator could fight its way out of the python's stomach. Surely it must be dead first, otherwise the python won't be able to swallow it. I can totally see the python exploding from eating such a large creature, or because of its indigestible scales perforating its insides.
