Yet Another Newbie Thread On How to Break Things Off [retitled]

There comes a day when it's time to cut ties with a chick/ team member. For whatever the reason.

What does one tell her? I'm not asking about the way you become "ghost" on her.. I'm wondering when you actually TELL HER "we are done" so to speak..

How do you break it to her? lie or truth?

I'm curious because I've had to deal with this a lot lately and it's been a bitch trying to let them down "easy".... I remember back in the day when my cousin had a million chicks and he tell me he's done with one. and next thing I know he's still fucking around with her... I'd say "why are you still with THAT tramp". he'd just say it's not that easy to shake all of them

Why do you have to tell her you are done? That's the first question. Going ghost is usually a better move.

If you choose to cut ties, just state how you feel and express the separation that you will enforce. "I don't want to be with a woman who does not treat me with respect. So, goodbye."

Then stick to it.

Also, part of the reason people get back together is because the girl pulls you back in. I don't know if it's to see if she can, or because girls want what they can't have, or because the act of leaving is a move that makes women attracted to you, but there's something about a man pulling away that makes women hang on a little longer.

Its not working out
We want different things
I'm not in the right space

Or

I met someone else with bigger tits
You told me you were crazy, I should have listened
Honestly you can't cook, and you don't clean
You're way too clingy
When I met your mom and sisters, I threw up in my mouth a little
It's like.throwing a hot dog into the Grand Canyon

Don't take long.. Make the conversation as short as possible. If she's in love with you try to convert her to fuck buddy status if possible.

Is this a consistent drunk hookup or fuck buddy? Cause if so, I'm fond of just fading into obscurity. Respond less and less often, hang out once a week, then every other week, then never. Just fade away, making sure every last few times is enjoyable... try to leave a good, and confused, taste in her mouth about why things ended.

This way you can reopen the case file if you're bored... and when you're leaving a club/party/concert/funeral/whatever empty-handed and drunk at some point next year and see her... you two can laugh about meeting up by chance, then go home together for the night.

You aren't marrying the girl... you don't even want to be her friend... you shouldn't be worried about giving her closure here, simply about reducing collateral damage to your life (by leaving her as unjaded and unlikely to make her social circle hate you as possible).
