Does accent reflect good/bad personality?

Does accent reflect good/bad personality?

Before opening a girl, I can only guess if she will be a bitch or nice, based on looks alone.

The moment she opens her mouth, I learn a ton about her personality. Most of which, I tend to base on her accent.

NYC is the most international city in the world. I'm finding myself loosing or gaining interest quickly here, often based on her accent alone. I can't tell if I'm being influenced by my last euro tour, or if there really is something to this...

English

Australian chicks sound the most masculine to me of all. "one of the guys" epitomized.

Northern English not far behind. Quite "chummy" sounding birds.

Scottish & Irish a little more pleasant, to a lot more pleasant depending on the region.

Canadian girls sound normal.

American girls all over the map. Women native to LA, NYC, SF, DC & Miami = worst focal fry on the planet. Southern can sound super sweet, or ignorant. Small town USA is the most "neutral" accent to my ears.

European

French chicks either sound fancy, or like entitled cunts.

German more logical. There is no subtlety.

Scandis sound fair & balanced to me for the most part.

Russian, Ukrainian, and other Slavic countries

Some of these girls sound like gentle musical poets...others have a hardened, matter-of-fact shrewdness.

Do you guys think the way a chick talks is more a reflection of her personality, or her environment?

Which accents are you guys most partial to?

My favorite accent is an african women born and raised in France. They have the body and warmth of Africans combined with lady like traits and femininity of French women.

Voice is a big part of the turn on/off for me.

I definitely agree about the Australian accent being masculine. Hearing that accent coming from a woman is just godawful.. similar to the way I feel when someone posts photos of a she-male on this forum.

Russian is a difficult one. I think a lot of them sound sexy because of smokers' voice Remember, lot of them smoke shisha every day but don't consider it smoking. You can also get an idea about her background based on her pronunciation, which words she uses, etc..

Hispanic Reasoning's guidebook towards accents in English. [Image: smile.gif]

Anglosphere:

-Canadian: Doesn't really annoy me.
-Irish: Turned on if they aren't bitchy
-West Coast American: Next
-East Coast American: Next
-Mid-Western American: We can work on it if you have some light.
-Southern American: Let's talk gravy if you don't hate me for being brown.
-Brits: depending what part of the UK they're from and if they aren't Chavs.
-Aussie: Next.

East Asians, SS Africa, and South Asians: friend zoned (me don't want to go beyond friends with East Asian, South Asian, and African girls).

Middle Eastern:
Israeli: Quédate conmigo mi princesa Judía. [Image: wink.gif]
Turkish: Want to get some coffee nena? [Image: biggrin.gif]
Arab and North African: depending how they look.

Europe:
Spanish:Absolutely!
French: unless snobby, then lets hit it up.
German: Logical and reason; first coffee. [Image: smile.gif]
Russian and other slavs: Absolutely and interesting accent. [Image: wink.gif]
Italian: Lets get coffee.
Scandos: Interesting people who need some time to get energized. [Image: smile.gif]

Latin-America:
Depending where they're from (Caribbean, Brasil, Argentina, Uruguay, Panama, CR, Colombia, Venezuela), then lets hit it up. Mexican girls need no apply. [Image: smile.gif]

Americans who have never lived outside of the US say that a (British) English accent sounds more intelligent than an American one. Americans who have travelled don't.

Definitely rings true with me. Getting back from Europe really does filter your ears to BS speech patterns; especially considering most Europeans learn English as a second language.

If either a US uptalk or look-at-my-English-peacock accent troupe is walking behind me, I stop and let them go as you would wait for a fire truck to pass. There's something about a group of girls shrilly gossiping together that sounds like nails on a chalkboard.

The Scots and Irish sound more down to earth but end up acting quite similar to Americans/English. Quite disappointing after the accent wears off.

Talking to an Australian girl for me is like talking to a man. I don't get it. I remember talking to one Aussie girl in West Village (and no, she wasn't a trannie) - she gave off the most masculine vibe in the entire district. Shame because with her skirt and heels, she looked good.

Canadians sound friendly and open; like it's the first day at school.

Love that upper Mid-West accent. Texas girls aren't too bad either, as long as they're not in PR/social media; then their vocals fry.

French - if travelers - quite cute because they feel self-conscious but are much better than they think. French girls Americanized - like hearing a trainwreck. Such a beautiful accent talking about the STUPIDEST THINGS. *queue Taps*

Haven't met too many Spanish/Greek/Italians. Perhaps I should keep my ears open.

German girls are like Canadians except humorless. Sometimes I'm shocked how well they speak English because I can't detect any accent.

I would describe Scandinavians as a mix of bubbly and straightforward.

Russians: passionate yet logical would be how I see it. Opened a tall high-heeled Russian in SoHo on her way to a meeting and she blurted in a rushed but sultry voice "Yes, out with it." She had a massive wedding ring on her left hand but kept the convo going just to hear her talk. Wish I recorded it.

I've found Ukrainians more softspoken; like there's passion there but they don't know how to get it out.

Polish girls sound sexy but the deeper I probe, the more Americanized they act. Really strange.

Czechs know they're passionate and say what's on their mind. Best way I can describe them is like talking to a European punk-rocker.

I've found talking to girls in an international spot like nyc is good exposure and practice, but paraphrasing Roosh , their behaviors and thoughts change. Ultimately an EE girl in New York is NOT the same as an EE girl in EE. There's a reason they're in nyc (obviously everyone wants to be rich and famous in nyc) but if they're actually living there, you're going to be dealing with a morphing personality, regardless of accent.

I've met a variety of European girls who were sweethearts when they first came to the US. In less than 2 months they developed ball busting attitude, machine-gun frequency shittests, had their iphones blowing up with messages from alpha/orbiter alike. They were being courted with lavish, expensive dinners, going clubbing in Meatpacking 4 times a week, always busy playing the field as much as they can. The only solution is American style game mixed with the acceptance that they're getting lots of attention for looking damn good. I've met a handful who don't want to be reminded of their homeland and would rather assimilate into America as much as possible, which is quite funny because they still can't drop their accent [Image: icon_lol.gif]

The other extreme I found is the super religious EE girls, though obviously they find marriage and shared religious practices important.

Side note: Has anyone else been asked what country they're from after returning to the US? My fellow citizens couldn't believe I was born and raised here.

Yes, often. I sometimes get compliments on my English skills and younger girls occasionally ask why I "speak like an old person."

The new buzzwords get on my nerves too. People want to "reach out" rather than "contact," among other examples.

There is something about new media workplaces that is painfully blue pill cringe inducing.

Polish and Czech can cause colossal erections by accent only.It is a secret how they manage it. On the other hand some German women can talk like a dick is swimming in their mouths till you get that the reason for the manly voice is not the cock contact to tonsils.

This is arguably one of the best paragraphs ever written in the English language.

Lol @ Hispanic Reasoning on Israelis!

Any coastal Spanish-speaking populations get me big time with the intervowel Ds dropped, aspirations of the letter S, and shit like nasalization.

Just the accent seems like a projection of confidence that I also relate to being great in bed. Feel the same about Eastern European although no experience there.

Shhiiiitttt even just thinkin about those accents!!! Cool idea for a thread.

English:Usually the bar cigarette low voice the tonsils are shaped by alcohol and cigarettes only.
Scandinavians:Certain BJ element in voice it is cheerful.though steady at times.
Germanic:Manly voices,an unfortunate Mediterranean always connects them to cock rub
Mediterranean:Ridiculous very high pitched voices totally anti sexy.Alrhough goid for singing.
Eastern slavic(Russian,Ukrainian,Bwlarus):Lots of intonation as the last drop of semen changes the voice.Too much fairy tale.
Western skavic(Czech, polish): Ubersexy voice,BJ imminent cock in danger. These girls always give the illusion of good swallowing and extra treatment.

You're forgetting that within "Northern English" for example, there's at least 4 distinct accents. I'm not sure that America has such distinction within it's regional accents. I could be wrong though.

Plus, within those regional accents, there's the working class accents and the middle to upper versions too!
