Making money with Greece's economical situation?

Hi,

looking at this post here from "Greek kamaki"
http://www.rooshvforum.network/thread-13776-...#pid650970

is there a way you make money with Greece's economical situation when living in Europe especially Germany.

I just don't speak one word greek and don't know alot about Greece. Finding translators or people who lived there is no problem but they are partly business people themselves.

Maybe someone can give me some advice.

Thank you in advance!

Wait for greece to go back to the drachma and then start buying houses for 10 cents each after the hyperinflation. in a few years you can resell if the economy ever recovers but don't hold your breath.

It doesn't look like that will happen because so far germany has been bailing out greece and other failing economies like portugal and spain.

Thank you for the answer.

How about some type of import from Greece. Shouldn't things be cheap(er) there?

Unfortunately Greek products are expensive due to euro and this severely impairs their exporting capability despite the much higher quality compared to what you find in German supermarkets.(noone would buy this stuff in Greece).
On the other hand a lucrative business in my opinion would be to open a job agency for Greeks who want to work abroad there are masses of them.

The Germans bail out the euro not the Greek economy.

Exactly correct. Adopting the Euro always makes things more expensive, especially in the less productive countries. The time to visit any country will be after it has abandoned the Euro -- or before it has adopted it. You should have visited Latvia last year.

I tought that greeces products should be cheaper.
I don't have the possibility to start a job agency, still a good idea.

Thank you to you all!

Top Greek products that can be sold everywhere(top notch quality):
1.Crete,Lesvos cheese Ladotyri,Naxos island Graviera.Feta cheese from village
2.Greek fish the best in Europe but rather expensive(Roman Emperors used to order their fish in Greece.Fish barbouni, lithrini, synagrida, sfyrida, fagri are the most alpha.
3.Greek melons and watermelons.Even Italians travel to Greece to taste them. This quality does not exist anywhere else.
4.Greek Kalamata olives.Brand name.
5.Greek yoghurt.
6.Greek sweet galaktoboureko.Actually this would make a boom in exports if exported.Tourists from central Europe get crazy with that. There are two shops in Athens which produce the best galaktoboureko Varsos and Kosmikon and usually lots of people stand in line to buy it.It tastes much better than baklava and belongs to the same category.(syrup sweets).

If you find a way to import fresh fish from Greece to high end restaurants or to get the recipe to galaktoboureko from Kosmikon to major European capitals you will become rich.
It is difficult to get these products in mass production though.
