Two white guys traveling to South America. Need Advice?

First off I want to say how great this site is. I can't believe I just discovered it last week. I've really been into traveling and partying for about 10 years now but I haven't found a site this amazing. I've spent the past week reading almost all of Roosh's writings and the various topics in the forums.

So, I need a little feedback from you guys. I'll give you a little background first. Me and a friend are trying to plan a trip in January. We have free travel so the airfare is no issue. We're both in our late 20's. We have decent jobs and some money saved up, but we want to spend as little as possible without compromising a good time. We're looking to do a short trip 5 days or so because of work obligations. We're both decent looking guys who can meet girls fairly easily in the states especially if we go out together. Neither one of us has been to South America or Central America before and our Spanish is real weak.
We've both traveled a lot to different parts of the world and are pretty adventerous.

So my question is where should we go? We're looking for what most of you all seem to be into, maybe in this order? Girls, party, scenary, relaxation, and girls!

hmmm no spanish is a slight problem in alot of south and central america.

id go to the Philippines or Thailand for an insane fuckfest and partying.

Then when your spanish improves hit up Colombia, Peru, Argentina ect.

Then there is always Brazil. Need to know Portuguese though or you will be mostly confined to fucking hookers esp in only a week.

Good travels bro!

Thailand is off the table cause it's such a long flight. So you think Medellin would be hard to have fun in if you didn't speak spanish? what about Cuba?

Five days isn't even enough time for me to find a decent coffee shop in a city. If you really want to get laid you're looking at p4p, or a lot of luck.

Rio would be a better bet than Medellin for such a short time.

I mean ur gonna have fun where ever u go. Only thing that has to be considered is banging locals. With only 5 days, and no spanish ur gonna have to fuck hookers most likely. Unless you get pretty darn lucky.

Id go to Rio if I was you. If you strike out at the bars and clubs you can always go to The Balcony in CopaBeach which is a good time and you can shore some decent looking girls.

I havent been to Medellin yet so I dont know alot about ur chances and what to expect.

Hit up badoo or latin american cupid and get a LOT of numbers. Organize at least 5 dates a day for your first 2-3 days there. Many girls will flake, but hopefully you'll get at least 2 or 3 out of 5 to show up.

In this time frame, I would say going to the standard gringo bars for backpackers would be a good bet. Girls here are DTF and looking for gringos.

i constantly pulled one night stands in Cusco, but my spanish was good, still might be your best bet, but with weak spanish the quality won't be great.

I would go to Sao Paulo and stay for a night. Go to a club and go hard in the paint for a SNL. Then catch a bus or fly to Rio for the remainder of your trip.

" go hard in the paint for a SNL." I might be getting old cause I don't know what that means?

Here is the definition from urban dictionary

"Hard in the paint"
To approach a problem, obstacle, or challenge with supreme confidence of success through a commitment to use all facilities available to one's self to achieve a goal.

The term has etymological roots in the basketball parlance that describes an attempt to score in the crowded and highly contested area directly under and immediately adjacent to the raised hoop on a basketball court, or "painted" area. Shot attempts in this area are traditionally only successful when made with a strong conviction to score, skill, overpowering strength, or a combination thereof (i.d. "going hard").

They're not stunning, but they're not ugly. There are plenty of cute 5-6ish girls there. It's probably their best bet for a non-p4p pull for a 5 day trip.

Learn spanish. Livemocha.com

Learn Salsa. Youtube.com or take classes.

Cali, Colombia or Medellin might be your speed. The above poster is right, go on a dating site and make contacts before going. Colombian girls love MSN so make sure you download messenger and USE it. There is a translator "tbot" that you can invite to the conversations that will translate both sides of the conversation so while you work on your spanish you can chat them up

Not sure if you are American or not but I am and I went to Cuba last May. I had to 'sneak' in (or back, rather) seeing how the American gov has an embargo agaisnt Cuba. I think about those four days as one of the most amazing experiances I have ever had. And if you do it right, you can do it for PENNYS. Literally. I believe once we started using the citizen money, two 23yr old men who eat for a living had a filling dinner for about a dollar. Let me know where you decide to go, I am hitting Rio for Carnaval this March.

Yeah Rio would be cool. I would recommend staying in Ipanema over Copacabana though. It is easy to get between the two and Ipanema is the nicer area. I would skip São Paulo (SP), there ain't crap to see there unless you just want to go clubbing and eat at nice restaurants. I second the comments here that Portuguese is essential in Brazil since English is not spoken all that widely.

Also, I am not one of those idiots scared of everywhere for safety but take basic precautions, especially in Brazilian large cities. No jewelry or nice cameras, cell phones in your pockets (not on a clip), and carry a photocopy of your passport, not the actual one, which you should leave in a safe. A wallet is your choice but in doubt just take as much cash as you need and a credit card (which are accepted widely). In Rio, the daytime is cool though watch out for scammers but at night take taxis versus walking and stay out of Centro (downtown) which is ghost at night.

As Roosh said before, Rio clubs aren't that great. There are some nice ones in Lapa (Rio Scenarium comes to mind) where you can probably find English speaking chicks but SP has the better club scene overall.
