D&P Podcast: Anabolic Steroid Questions Answered

A lot of guys have had questions about anabolic steroid use. There's a lot of misinformation out there, largely because people "in the know" are in the supplement game and you can't really come clean about gear when you're pushing l-glutamine.

Well, here's a podcast discussing anabolic steroid use and general training questions. It's uncensored. No marketing. No B.S. Just real talk.

Great podcast. I have already made gains and have a good physique (been lifting for three years) but am way too young to use gear. Apart from stretching (which I do some of, but not enough) and lifting with great form, have you got any more recommendations on how to keep making gains?

You might not get much bigger, but you can get denser. Start looking into training this way:

Thanks, thats a really useful post. I had already been doing 21s for arms and static holds for my abs, just need to incorporate both for other body parts.

Yeah, that will give you the mature look where you look decent even when you don't have a gym pump.

It's very neurologically demanding, especially the back exercises. Pays off big time, though.

Interesting, I only dabbled with static holds but never consistently or for long enough to get a true picture of what they could do. At the time of my run I was on something either dbol or var most likely that was giving me crippling pumps as is so the static holds were just misery I couldn't compound on top. Do you think it holds the same value for an enhanced athlete?

I had an enhanced guy ask me for honest feedback after a fitness competitor show (he won). Said his back was undersized. The judges said the same thing.

I put him on static holds and 1 and 1/3 reps and ran him through my back workout. His back is ridiculous now.

No. When I showed him the GH15 Bible a while ago, he agreed with it though.

I listened this morning when this broadcast first went up and I would recommend it to others who are interested in learning about roids and your body's natural limits.

They gave a very general limit of about ten years of solid diet and training before your natural physique is maxed out, although I would be curious to know how you tell as an individual when your body is the best natural shape it's going to be from just working out and eating right. Seems like it could have a lot of variability for each individual before you hit the physique wall.

Never met a former steroid user that didn't regret taking that shit. And I've met a few.

^I think Mike addresses that in the podcast. The "former" steroid users you meet are not using chems anymore because they were stupid and abused them. If you are smart and responsible, there aren't going to be any regrets.

Putting a bunch of dope in your system, then a bunch of other dope to counteract the negative effects of the original dope isn't healthy. The path to health is to avoid as much chemicals in the body as possible. Its already difficult enough with all the shit we involuntarily get in food already, and in the environment, so why stack on top of that? I'd rather not big big a fat in my 50's. Or my butthole stretched out from a prison stint.

You met a lot of idiots and bros (and that includes military guys) who took too much too soon.

The main reason for doing the podcast was to prevent guys on this side of the Internet from making the same mistake.

The podcast is both pro- and anti-steriod, if you listen to it closely.

Pro in the sense that steroids increase health and fitness.

Con in the sense that young guys have no business messing with them and the doses people take are way too high.

Then I presume you drink no alcohol.

Or ingest any caffeine.

Or smoke a cigarette.

Or is that stuff OK since it's socially acceptable?

Being anti-steroids is blue pill and just shows mindless conformity to mainstream views.

I never met a smart drug addict. Besides, roids will turn you into a bigbootyluvr and have forum meltdown. [Image: wink.gif]

I have.

In fact, I don't know a person on this forum who doesn't use drugs.

Coffee?

Booze?

Smokes?

Weed?

Tylenol/pain killers?

Etc.

Everyone uses drugs.

It's just funny how some drugs are "bad" and some drugs are "good."
