I like Scooby, decent advice with no BS. I don't care about Xfit much, Scooby is down to basics which is good enough. He's in great shape, so he's doing something right. Props to him.

Scooby is 50.

How many 50 year olds doing XFIt look like him?

How many people can even sustain the "CrossFit lifestyle". Exactly.

I checked out his website and he makes definitely no-BS recommendations. Perfect for an intermediate lifter like me who needs to take it to the next level.

My only concern is that his skin is really red-tinted, like Sisson. I thought that "glow" was an indication that he's using HGH?

I have zero issue with a guy using HGH, but when Scooby is professing everywhere on his website that he's completely natural and this is what happens when you reach your full natural potential (he claims everywhere that he doesn't use PEDs), then I start to become really dubious of his program.

More like a beginner. You should already know this shit.

Anyways there's no way that this dude is a natty like he claims. Oh and he is gay btw.

The best no bullshit training site I've seen is http://www.rookiejournal.com, and the related site http://www.irongangsta.blogspot.com.

Once finals are over, I'm hopping on their beginner program. (note: I'm a skinny newb, and while I'm at it: also minimal experience with pick up)

http://irongangsta.blogspot.com/2013/12/...ilder.html

I'm reading this one now, and it's making me think of my past (I hope...) behavior on a couple of things I learned through the internet...including game. Lots of keyboard jockeys around (case in point: reddit's TRP sub). After reading Rollo, Roosh and Heartiste for a few months, we think we know it all, hahaha.

Thanks for the links. While I don't care if Scooby's gay (even though he says he's married), at least one other dude out there has the same nagging suspicions about Scooby that I do. Namely, that he's bigger at 53 than 29, his skin tint is really red, and he's making a lot of money on Youtube and his pay-for sites.

scooby is decent but is not no-bullshit. he's mum about his obvious juicing and he promotes certain broscience and his information can be vague.

imo the best online lifting fitness resource is Jason Blaha. he's a very intelligent guy who knows his shit top to bottom. he exposes the fitness industry for the sham it is, from useless supplements, to fad diets, to steroid usage. his lifting and diet advice is the clearest and truest shit out there.

he isn't perfect though. cons: dry and uncharismatic, does not himself have a respectable physique and hamsters against bodybuilding likely because he has bad genetics (poor insertions and bodyfat distribution) for it, has very elitist training and dieting standards due to his superior strength and metabolic genetics.

Chris Jones and Omar Isuf are two other decent YouTubers.

also, check out Lyle McDonald, "science motherfucker" extraordinaire.

lol at those vegan or vegetarian bodybuilders. Anyone can look good with enough tren/eq in their system as they clearly do, its def not their diet making them look like that. There really are no secrets out there regarding building a good physique. All one has to do is lift and diet correctly.

Almost all new articles that come out on these fitness sites are just regurgitated old information passed on as new stuff or just plain mental masturbation about inconsequential details. Just hit your macros, lift hard at least 3 times a week and thats 90% it. If u want to take it to the next level check out gh15 or jasonblaha for more info
