This is why I love my sister

Today I got a phone call from my sister. She wanted to vent and express her anger at the Marine Corps, and women. She's never served in the military, but her husband and I were both soldiers. She's a 42 year old wife, and a mother of 3 sons living in Idaho. She's been married to my brother in law since 1995.

Sis- Can you believe that these women in boot camp can't do pullups?
Me- And this surprises you?
Sis- YES! It's disgraceful! How can they expect to function in combat with inadequate upper body strength?
Me- Because they don't have to. No one really holds them to a standard.
Sis- This is bullshit. They are a liability! I can do 3 pullups! Their training must be substandard. How is it possible that they can go through all of this training and not be able to do it?
Me- You're cut from a different cloth. If someone gives you a standard to achieve or maintain you'll do it.
Sis- I still don't understand how they can consider themselves the few, the proud if they can't do a pullup. I just had to get that off my chest. Love you, bye.

She's always snapping about sorry ass women raising sorry ass sons. Something she has vowed that she would never do. She has a guys outlook on a lot of things. All three of my nephews are pretty bright and durable kids. They speak up, look you in the eye, and they're not cry babies. I love my sister.
