Doctor Chander Puri, a specialist in reproductive health at the Indian Council of Medical Research, told the BBC there was an obvious need in India for custom-made condoms, as most of those currently on sale are too large.

Currently around one in every five times a condom is used in India it either falls off or tears, an extremely high failure rate.

Puri said that since Indians would be embarrassed about going to a chemist to ask for smaller condoms there should be vending machines dispensing different sizes all around the country.

He said: "Smaller condoms are on sale in India. But there is a lack of awareness that different sizes are available. There is anxiety talking about the issue. And normally one feels shy to go to a chemist's shop and ask for a smaller size condom."

But Sunil Mehra, former editor of the Indian version of Maxim magazine, retorted: "It's not size, it's what you do with it that matters.

"From our population, the evidence is Indians are doing pretty well."

It was my first day of Basic Combat Training in the Army and all the guys were taking a shower. We were all bullshitting and talking about how much we hate the drill sergeants when an Indian dude walks in.

Everyone goes silent.

I'm still talking and I look at the Indian guy and I stop. No one looks at each others' cocks directly but you can still see it in your peripheral. This guy had A HUUUUUUUGE BUSH! And it covered his tiny junk. No stem. Just the head was poking out.

Everyone was quiet and then he said, "Fucking drill sergeants." Then we all went back to bullshitting. We called him "Little Dick." Someone said he had big eyes like Little Foot from that dinosaur movie.

One day, a guy in my platoon called him to be his battle buddy to take a piss (you need someone to watch your back and what not).

"Ayeee! Little Dick! Come with me to take a piss!"

When he said that, a feminazi drill sergeant (the ones that think they can do anything a man can) walked behind him.

The BBC news site is one of the most popular webpages in the world.

Anyway - they have a small column which collects the top 5 read stories of that day. Usually it is just a bunch of stories from that day's news. Starting with the main story at number 1 in the list.

Well - the weirdest thing was happening for a couple of years. About 2-3 times a week - the most read story for that day was the story about Indian men having small dicks. Even though that story was about 3 years old at the time.

It didn't make sense for this old story to keep floating to the top of the 'most read' stories for that day. My guess was that some racist group were hacking the site with some kind of proxy server which was continually clicking on that story thousands of times a day. In order to try and embarass Indian guys.

The story hasn't appeared on the 'most read' list for about 2 years now. So I am guessing the BBC have stopped collecting the number of views for that page in order to put an end to the cyber bullying that was going on.

This is all 100% true. And I kinda' wished a newspaper had looked into it at the time since it was quite an odd form of internet vanadlism.

PS Indians don't have many role models in the media that make them look cool. So sadly I think alot of white chicks really are a bit racist towards Indian guys. The archetypes promoted by the media play a big part in the attraction game.

Not to derail the thread but...

You can do one day of basic training in the army - quit - then reap all the Veteran benefits???

I love in the UK. But my understanding is that those benefits are quite a big deal in the US.

I am surprised this isn't discussed more often. Seems a great little scam.

I wonder if this might just be because of nutrition? We Indians born in western countries tend to be bigger in general, due to the heavier and hormonized food that we've been consuming since birth. Food in India is typically of worse nutritional quality, which might be the reason that our cousins in the motherland are lacking in size.
