Parody Blog Created To Mock "Fake Male Gamers"

http://fakenerdguys.tumblr.com/

Hilarious new Tumblr created by butthurt women who are sick of being called "fake" gamers. Gee, women observe that about one another all the time, but when a man does it....

Check out this completely tone-deaf, off-base Youtube video:

Check out some of the pictures on the Tumblr:

The last one had this tagline: This guy knows what we want to see. [Image: lol.gif]

I saw this going around on Twitter. When I read it, I thought feminists had to share this and must have gotten pissed over the conventionally attractive, white males in the Tumblr.

Nope. Not on Jizz-bombs, at least.

Kelly Faircloth is upset that men have the audacity to challenge to women's self-identities when they go into male spaces. She seems to think we all just licking each other's shafts, giving each other mindless affirmations and compliments and generally behaving cordially when women are not around. However, when one of those infernal females show up...then it's on our misogynistic grind. Yes, Kelly is the sort of female to simultaneously believe that all men are beasts, but that only really applies against women.

She ends with this gem -- which is one of the many reasons men have problems with female gamers.

Quote:Quote:

I do not personally believe that you have to 'earn' your nerd cred, nor that there are any fake gamer guys."

First off, that is ridiculous, as women are experts at cleaving the in's from the out's. All that "we are all just one big family" is yet another appearance-maintaining comment by women. Don't women see this yet -- we get sick of the faux-acceptance shit. It reminds of the first safehouse for Trevor in GTA 5, when he defaces a "Live, Love, Laugh" picture with a "Eat, Shit, Die" message. [Image: lol.gif]

Second, is the idea that women have an incredible dismissive attitude toward success, time-investment and competence if it is not directly related to their sexual valuation of a man. The quote shows their lack of truly caring about competency for themselves -- unless it relates to their hunger to show off their value to a male. Further, it shows their dismissal of male achievement if it does not lead them to find a male sexually attractive. Women have a complete inability to appreciate a man's own expertise, time-investment and competency that leads men to become highly agitated with women because if those qualities don't elicit sexual approval, then women literally don't give two squirts of rotten dog piss.

The highest rated quote mentions body-image issues, tangentially:

Quote:Quote:

And what woman wouldn't be eager to please nerdy gamers?

I'm the first to embrace wonky men (I'm interested in politics) and people with expertise of any kind, but given the stereotype of nerdy men as pimply, fat, antisocial dudes (which I know is definitely not always the reality but still) I find it funny that all these gamer dudes assume these women are after their foine peen. It requires some ego to think all the ladies want to tap that.

Tellingly, that comment has only 40 favorites. On a massive website like Jezebel, this article appears to be glanced over. Most women don't give two squirts of piss about video games, much less the politics of the situation. They perceive video gamers as lame and our media does little to ameliorate that stereotype. Remember, those who bitch the most about "putting people into boxes" or stereotypes are people who do that the most. They only open their mouth to bitch when the stereotypes impact their self-image.

Still, it is a testament to how women view media and themselves. They don't bitch when stereotypically attractive men are objectified. They don't complain about body-image issues unless it is to re-frame the issue presented and bitch about "impossible" beauty standards for women. Like putting down the fucking fork and having a salad or a Lean Cuisine was so difficult. Unless -- of course -- you don't truly want to change and want others to change for you. Highly infantile.

Lastly, it shows how low women have fallen. All women have to do is show up and get attention from men. They have regressed so badly, they can't even do that and need to use video games to show up their identity and get male attention. Video games are not the problem, nor is porn, alcohol, or TV shows. All that and everything related is merely displacing some emotional need - love, acceptance, friendship, human interaction, whatever. Maybe men don't want to game anymore, but there is more to this female need to be gamed.

When I say video games *can* take over other human emotions, I am referring to when the desire to game becomes a need, not a want. Take alcoholics. One of the main barriers to recovery is simply that which was crowded out by the drinking isn't guaranteed to come back. If a person is lonely, there is no sure-fire way to assure friends will be there when an alcoholic goes off-line from the booze. There is no guarantee that a wife will love a man again, nor that his kids will fill those needs the alcohol fills. That is why addiction is self-perpetuating precisely because the void that it fills isn't sure to be met if the addiction is given up.

For men, video games represent the illusion of success, competency and commanding other men. The truth is, modern society doesn't provide many ways for men to slake this need -- which has both biological and socially-constructed roots. Never has more been expected from men when it comes to personal success, money, or charisma. Still, men intuitively understand there, also, has never been a greater gap between the labor they put into the job and the final product. Movies like "Office Space" attest to this, but this is by no means a recent phenomenon. Cultural commentators noted this trend as far back as the '50's.

Video games provide a real -- but fake -- outlet to slake these sorts of male thirsts. When *real* women enter these sorts of worlds, it shatters the illusion. Like men who fetishize porn to the point where they can't fuck their wives anymore, the space the video games allow a man to fantasize is snapped when *actual* females show up. It becomes too real, aka reality.

Ugh, God, this porno is so fucking hot!

Honey, do you want to act what you watch in porno flicks?

Ugh, what the fuck is wrong with you?

Women intuitively understand men don't want women in video game worlds, which is precisely why they show up. Attention -- positive or negative -- is a near certainty.

For women, they show up because they know they men don't want them there and -- as always -- they assume that is because of sexism/misogyny/OMG THE BOYS CLUB. They don't understand that video games are escapism and fantasy for men -- from society and women while also upholding the same standards that MRA's would decry as "impossible" and ludicrous. Yes, the same man who bitches about game/money/fame/personal work is too hard to do in real life then turns around and pretends to meet those standards in video games, by being the hero, the calm & confident man who handles stress and life with effortless skill.

Women climb into these worlds because they cannot garner the attention of men they think they are entitled to, so they plunge into the fake world of video games and hope they can not only get their thirst for attention slaked, but also accede to the top of hierarchy. As always, they find the top men, ingratiate themselves with them and see what she can shake out of the those males. The only problem: it is fake, a charade. The mirage that video games provide allows them the space to project X, Y or Z onto their male paramours and the men do so with them, as well. Plus, they can project onto men they do no like.

You could say I am unfairly assuming women usually play multi-player games, but think of any criticism that female gamers lay on video games: it all is about bitching about online, multi-player games.

Still, these sorts of controversies shows how important video games are becoming for some women and how they truly don't understand men. They really don't give a fuck if they trample over what some men need to keep their sanity. What matters to them is to garner enough attention to show up their poor self-identities. The men they fight are easy to down -- and women know that -- yet, the women involved don't seem to realize that says a lot about them.

I mean, seriously, out of all the political activism a person could do to try and make an impact on the world, this is literally the most trival, petty thing a woman could possibly choose to show concern over, let alone outrage, and is clear evidence she has lived an unchallenging life of comfort and privilege, which means she has all the mental issues that go with low resilient personalities.

Basically, they're undateable and unfuckable, hence the desperate attention whoring for less-demanding gamer guys, who are too sexually-desperate to turn down damaged goods.

In Halo 4, you can change the sex of your character. I went up behind another player in multiplayer and bunted it in the back. The character made out a yelp in a female voice which made me laugh. I proceeded to t-bag the dead body.
