No, I won't be surprised, I've just been there.
At least in Pattaya the whole Naklua district is fucking Brighton Beach. Every non-Asian person I've met was Russian. A lot of businesses having signs ONLY in Russian, not even in Thai. Security guards at large condominium complexes speak Russian and say it is mostly Russians who live there. Insane!

   

A funny thing though - you probably know that pretty much every non-Asian guy on the streets walks with a Thai girl. However I have never seen there a Russian guy with a Thai girl on the streets - they're either alone, with Russian girls or with other Russian guys.

edit: after reading that it came to my mind that myself I always walked alone as well. And the amount of attention I received in tourist areas of Pattaya really annoyed me.

You should. Thai and Russian culture are very similar in a lot of aspects, so assuming you know Thai (this is a must), if you marry a girl there, your marriage has a very good chance to work comparing to an American dude. Especially if you live in SoCal.

It is also interesting in some aspects - for example, it is a good place to understand that sometime cheap pussy is better than free pussy. And there I finally understood that having an unlimited supply of cheap or even free pussy has nothing to do with happiness. Definitely worthy experience.

Shit, I cant believe that you were so unsuccessful in Riga. Obviously your problem was Venue choice. Venue choice is so crucial in the baltics. lol I dont think you will want to stay only 4 or 5 days (however since you ve already been in krakow, you probably wont be blown away by hotness and easiness girls as much as a guy who has never been in this area of the world..) . Thing to know befor your schedule your trip though is that in tallinn sun-mon-tues are not always good, it can be good during these nights, but it can be total shit (try to arrive on a wed or a thursday, then you can use sun-mon to meet girls you ve met in the weekend)
You can go to Tartu, the student city (the wednesdays are the best there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! club Illusion particularly)
you can also go to helsinki if you dont mind expenive clubs and drinks, and extremely expensive accomodations, and clubs closing early. (you have clubs worth going any day of the week there, just have to know which ones, can write about it later)
About Tallinn s nightlife, it is one the easiest nightlife to figure out, not very big city. Just go to tallinnbackpackers hostel and guys there will tell you (you have nimetta for very easy girls who want to one night stands with foreigners, also Shooters just beside ... for Clubs you have hollywood , Prive, and several others which are all fine, just depends on your taste.. but girls are the easiest in nimetta.. you have also other venues for artsy types ppl like Levikas for example, easy to get laid there too..)

I fly in March 9 ( a Wednesday - and I know all about Hollywoods on a Wednesday ) and out on the 25th. Basically my schedule is flexible so I'm open to ideas!

Never been to Tallinn, but it seems pretty small to me (pop 450,000). Riga is larger (700,000) and more Russian (girls). I would think Riga would have better clubs and more quality women. Tallinn seems to get a lot of exposure to foriegners given its small size. Am I wrong in these assumptions?

I am moving to Riga at the end of February, I'll catch the tail end of winter which sucks but it's easier than getting another place here in Montreal for a couple of months.
