Quick trip to San Francisco, DR
I spent 4 days in San Francisco. It has a reputation among Dominicans as the city that produces the hottest chicks and many Dominican actresses and entertainers come from there. It's also known as the drug capital of the country and a place that can be violent, though fortunately I didn't run into that.
Basic costs:
I stayed in an airbnb room at $70/nt. More than I wanted to spend, but the few hotels I saw seemed grimy and I wanted something decent and spacious in a good area. You can get hotels at $20/nt if you don't care where you sleep.
Bus from Santiago to SF was $2 and took an hour and a half. Getting around once I arrived I used conchos at 50 cents a ride. I only hung out in the commercial area so transportation wasn't much of an issue.
The first thing I noticed once I arrived was that it was full of malls, and they were excellent for day gaming. Being a gringo in SF really has advantages in comparison with Santo Domingo and Santiago. The latter two cities already have tons of gringos so you don't stand out much, but in SF it's the opposite. As soon as I walked in the mall it was immediately all eyes on me.

This place kind of had a SEA city feel to it. There are electrical wires hanging everywhere, billboards are stacked upon each other, and there are US fast food joints all over the place.
One thing I disliked about the city was the food. DR food kinda sucks in general, but at least Santo Domingo and Santiago have decent restaurants. In SF it was pretty much unhealthy Dominican street food or unhealthy American fast food (McDonalds, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut etc)
The gaming aspect was very easy. I mostly hit up employees in malls, and there weren't many customers around so it was pretty easy. I would just go in and introduce myself and they'd soon recognize that I wasn't from around there. I then continued with a story about what I was doing there and I'd follow with a bunch of questions on what there is to do, where to go to eat, etc.
Inevitably they'd all say that there's nothing to do in SF but their favorite thing to do was go to the movies. I'd invite them to a movie, exchange whatsapp info, shoot the shit a bit and be done.
I had an easy excuse in getting the girls to my place as I genuinely didn't know anything about the city. I'd have them come to my place and I'd tell them we'd hang for a bit and then hit the movies. I maintained the angle of not being from around here and being unfamiliar with everything, so at my apartment I'd have girls order groceries over the phone for me because my Spanish sucks. Once the groceries arrived, guess whose job it was to do the cooking...

These were all mall approaches. I wasn't there over a weekend so I didn't go into any clubs. My routine was pretty much just waking up, working on the laptop for a few hours, hit the mall, meetup with the chick, eat dinner, drink rum, smash. There's an up and coming brand of flavored rums that comes out of SF, so I took advantage of being unaware about it in getting the girls to drink with me when they were at the apartment (and to forget about going to the movies). The rum itself is shit IMO, I tried two flavors and one tasted like Malibu and the other like Hypnotiq. But the chicks drank it and thought it was fancy, and it was only 10 bucks a bottle.
My last day there I spent with a chubbster who I met on the bus over there. She did my laundry:
