I voted '80s because I have thing for the teen movie queens of that decade.

But one thing is certain: in the decade that followed it all came crumbling down. What the hell happened? Grunge. Ugly flannel fashions. Piercings and tattoos on women.

In the sphere of celebrities, grunge produced few hot women. Female dance singers went from trying to please straight men to being gay icons (Madonna, Mariah) and becoming shells of their former selves. Or they came off like cartoons (Spice Girls).

I saw a changeover with movie stars too. We used to get hot women like Rebecca DeMornay who was in "Risky Business" or Darryl Hannah (a personal fave).

But by the 1990s we were getting horse-face Julia Roberts and blah Renee Zellwegger -- women that I think were popular because female movie goers didn't have to feel threatened by them.

I do remember jerking it to Drew Barrymore when she was in Playboy, but she's from the 1980's so...

I think we can all agree that the 1990's was the worst for women.

I wonder if the AIDS epidemic had anything to do with it. What a shitty decade.

At least now, it seems like the STDs thing has simmered, and a lot of girls are down to raw-dog. From what I've heard from elders, it's a lot like the 1970's.

Still, the women of the 1980's represent the ultimate sex machines. This is a decade before the emergence of Samsāra and irony as a zeit geist.

Actually Barrymore wasn't in Playboy till '95. Here are the pics, if you want to relive your youth.

Around 1992, she did her first nudes in Interview magazine (I think) so you might be thinking of that. But unless I'm totally mistaken, she didn't pose nude in the '80s since she was born in '75.

If you're still into her, there's a movie from '89 called "Far From Home" (poster here) where she looks really good -- since she was first coming onto her own. If you can't find it on Netflix, message me and I'll send you a link.

Quoted from The Encyclopedia of Ali:

1920's- Best decade. Slutty women, prohibition, opiates, running moonshine, gangsters.

1930's- Meh.

1940's- Greatest generation. Women were ok and U.S. was a pussy paradise for liberal dudes that refused to serve. Europe was a pussy paradise for Americans.

1950's- Bland.

1960's- Hottest women.

1970's- Fucking baby boomers. Spreading homosexuality and communism one vote at a time.

1980's- Fucking baby boomers on coke. Now dying from overdose and Aids. The only two things that save this decade was Ronald Reagan and Motley Crue.

1990's- Fucking baby boomers and Bill Clinton. Lame decade but hot girls and clubs were good for pickup.

2000's- Was a big haze. I can't remember much.

2010's- Fucking baby boomers and now fucking hipsters still fucking shit up and leaving us to clean up the mess. Hot bitches though.

Nice, just as good as what I remember.

I don't even think she's all that, but I'd tear that up like crazy.

The 1990's "it" girl was pissy Alicia Silverstone and then psycho Angelina Jolie.

I feel like the girls of today have curvier bodies from all the hormones and steroids in the meats and foods we eat. Its fine as long as they are young or keep their bodies in check. Theres a lot more mixed races now to producing some hot talent. Advanced make up and skin care products out. Their attitudes are def shittier now then ever. Just for the sake of being hot and fucking I think we are living in right era.

Having lost my virginity to an older hippie-chick (at a boarding school) at age 13 (1968), my vote goes for the '60s. Long hair, natural beauty, very feminine, the advent of "The Surfer Girl" here in SoCal, great attitudes and most importantly, totally they were DTF! Chicks dug you for who you WERE, not what you could do for them - they were also largely more informed about politics, the arts, etc.

By the late '70s - after women's lib had gone mainstream, and the "Me Generation" ethos made it all about "what you had" rather than your character...I remember the first time a girl asked me what kind of car I drove...I knew the shit had hit the fan, and things would never be the same again. I went back to college and got a "real degree" so that could afford a Beemer! [Image: smile.gif]

^^^ I think our attraction to girls in the 60's is mainly due to them still having innocence. That was lost in the 70's. As far as hotness of women? As cr33pin said, the prevalence of mixed races means hotter girls now more than ever.

Mexican chick? Meh.
White chick? Meh.

White/Latina mix? Fuck yeah.

Filipina? Yeah.
White chick? Meh.

White/Filipina? Hells yeah.

Men are traveling more and immigration is at all time highs. America has become a mixing pot of ethnic variety. It's a good time for hot girls. The attitudes however are another story. But women now are the biggest whores ever. Who can complain?

All you have to do is take a look at the music video for "Time of the Season" by The Zombies. It's a straight feminine pussy parade. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8c1ZB446bq4

It's threads like this that make us 90's kids feel they missed the boat on something.

Unsure as to the answer, but my best guess is the 60's for now. That was just before cultural Marxism started to kick in, and before corn subsidies started the trend towards the obesity epidemic.

I have to change my answer to the current. Girls are hotter now than ever. This is, however, based from the 60's landmark case of Loving v Virginia. Since then the gene pools have been mixing, and making for some beautiful wimminz.

This is very convincing, but I'm still going to say 1980's.

I am with Ali on this. The women now, in the 7-10 range, are the best looking ever. Better hair, fitness, racial mixing, etc.

But in the 5-0 category there are some truly spectacular manatees that would have been considered circus sideshows in the 1980's and before.

The average, due to less obesity, was likely the best in the 60's, 70's and 80's.

The girls are beautiful, but they're taking their cues of what is sexy from pornography and media. It's not their *natural* femininity. They're too self-aware for me.

And for me, it's the 70's, when I first started to notice girls in that way, and what holds them in time as sexy for me is the fact that I was a kid and too young to bang them.

I could come home after school to Hot Gossip dancing on my television.

From my perspective I would pick mid 60s to mid 70s before the rise of punk and its accompanying androgyny that then then led to the role reversals of the New Romantics. I liked Popstarlets from then such as Lulu, Sally Carr and Agnetha Faltskog and actresses such as Juliet Harmer, Raquel Welch and believe it or not the young Joanna Lumley. You had the modish mini skirt look and long feminine hair without it coming across as overdone and pretentious like many overtly self-conscious modern girls (In Britain many a half decent under 30 thinks she is a Victoria's Secret Model - Despite denying it if they were queried I am sure they know deep down British women are amongst Europe's most unkept and lazy and therefore know their raised value if they are attractive, they possibly even like it that way as less competition in provincial Britain than provincial Europe or the Americas). I usually find the plastic Essex WAG slutlight look now popular in the UK a turnoff as it rarely emphasises a womans natural beauty if she has any. At least things have improved from the 'GIRL POWER' 1990s in the UK when Britpop fashions meant that women often had short bob cuts and it was often only rockstars or male actors such as Brad Pitt who had long hair. Girls like Taylor Swift are a shift in the right direction aesthetically but unfortunately she seems a hypocrytical carousel rider who'll probably be looking for a very wealthy nice beta provider in a decade or so.

This is due to lack of real role models in women's lives. The moms are whores and the dads are herbs. When the girl reaches adulthood it gets worse because there's nowhere to turn but to media/Hollywood/porn. And that machine is cashing in by devastating women's self esteem. Men are probably worse than the women which is why you have 100 beta orbiters sucking ass to each girl. Chicks now have to cull through a lot of slag just to find one masculine male. Women instinctively still want to be naturally feminine, but have gotten lost. A shame really.

I totally agree and I remember women in the 80’s being a bit over dressed with leggings, shoulder pads etc. but at least they made an effort to look good. The 80’s was all about showing off and being glamorous. Remember the 80s heavy metal videos with the hot women? They videos were a bit ridiculous and but the women were great! After grunge it was bands moaning about how shitty their lives were...it's like they sucked the joy out of living.

In 90’s (probably because of grunge), women no longer gave a shit about their appearance. Actually neither did a lot of men, come to think of it.
