It's probably the gays in the military. Lipo is cosmetic anyway.

Noway you mean Americans are looking for the quick fix and instant gratification for something. Rather then put in the time and work it takes to achieve their goals the right way?? I don't buy that for a second! (I typed that in my most sarcastic voice)
When I was in the Military they handed out some kind of waivers to the fatties who failed their fitness test. An told them to try and be in better shape next year when they had their test. It was a bunch of bull shit, I was staying in shape and working out to do good on my fitness test and other people (mostly the older people) were eating donuts and cheetos on the couch all day, with no repercussions.

The Fitness test is kinda fucked up, at least in my experience. I would either max the test or come close to maxing it every time, but because I weighed over the set limit I would have to go get "taped" which is when they measure your bodyfat. I was under 15% the entire time, and I was consistently gettin over 290 but I still had to get taped.

It depends what you're doing in the military. Big portion of pogues are fatties and few grunts are (infantry units tend to achieve what basic training doesn't in terms of aesthetics)

When I was in the Army towards the end of my second enlistment I was considered over weight, but not "over fat". I was 6ft and I weighed 220 lbs. My body fat percentage was between 8- 10%. The only problem that I saw was I couldn't do my 2 mile run at the speeds that I was used to before I started lifting weights. When I was was I85- 195 lbs from rucking, and calisthenics I could do the 2 mile run in 12 minutes or below. But with the extra muscle sub 13:30 was the best that I could do. I was a grunt so it was a point of pride to be "fit to fight" and look good doing it.

I'm cool with this. Activity levels don't always have a huge impact on body fat, and my guess is that the military feeds their guys some shitty food. A guy can be pretty lean and do jack shit for exercise if his nutrition is tight.
