My buddy's in basic training right now and we've been communicating via snail mail. In his most recent letter he mentioned how they had to take hormone pills which apparently is making it very difficult for him to get a boner LOL. He's talked to a few other of his platoon mates and they are apparently having the same issue. I was wondering if any of the current or ex-military guys on this forum can confirm that this is indeed something that goes on there.

On a side note, he's also been talking about how he hopes women never get sent to the front lines after witnessing girls repeatedly mentally breaking down and performing poorly on PT tests. Of the 16 girls that he started off with in his platoon, only 6 are still left.

I actually thought the reasoning for the pills was cause of all the women in the military now. I was asking other people and a guy who was in the military in the 90s said they didn't have to take the pills and that the only woman he ever saw when he was in basic was this fat, toothless chick that served them eggs in the mess hall every morning.

I finished basic ealier this year, and me and alot of guys had the same suspicion too that we were being given hormones. None of us could really get a boner for quite some time but looking back, I think it was just the stress of the situation. During the first few weeks, you were under so much demand from the Drill Seargeants that there was barely anytime to think about sex. I heard of at least one instance chick a one male and female hooking up in the barracks, and we had a few incidences of lesbianism in the female showers so, someone was gettin their rocks off.

Before we took them a previous service member said that they make us take hormone pills to help prevent spikes in tester tone. For a few weeks I did not once get morning wood which is like Belladona not getting anally devastated. One other side effect was the lost of muscle mass from the start of the 4th week. I went from 170 to 154 lbs. By the 5th week I finally got my first morning wood and it was awesome. Too bad I can't use my phone for porn and the lack of privacy."

This a very old rumor.

Back in boot camp I still got the occasional morning wood. Standing on line in front of the racks at attention with a major chub going always elicited odd looks from the drill instructors.

They don't give hormone pills as far as I know, but they do administer a prophylactic dose of antibiotics to all trainees which is in a pill form. What they are probably experiencing is the "flatline" phase of the no fap challenge after abstaining from porn/masturbation for a period of time. In basic you have no free time and no privacy so abstinence is pretty much forced. After about 90 days of that he should feel libido return, if not before then.

"Joes" are such idiots and rumor spreaders.

Guys in boot camp/basic training can't get hard because of sleep deprivation and massive stress.

There's nothing in the water and no one is giving anyone "hormone pills."

This cohort of recruits grew up beating off to a buffet of broadband hi def internet porn which has conditioned their brains to it. If they could get access to Belladonna's scenes they wouldn't experience erectile dysfunction.
