How does rapport really work on psychological level?
Lately I have talked too many people and with some I really have good connection which I thought I wouldn't and with people I thought I would have good connection I hadn't.
It is not to do with intelligence or language skills. I prefer people with good language mastery and intelligence about at least something we share but I also noticed I can have good rapport with somebody who doesn't have full language mastery.
I think I can explain it with the following metaphore. Conversation is like catching ball, when you talk (not ask a question), the other person should be be able to catch your conversation ball and throw it back after a while.
