Two Ways to Make The Travel Forum Better

I have been noticing this for a while, and I think there are two ways we can all make the travel forum even better than it is:

1. Report Back on your trip.

Obviously, many do a good job here. However, there are endless threads where some cat asks like 50 questions about some spot that he is going to for a few months.

Then 6 months later, he hasn't even told us one spot to get a decent quesedilla with guacamole at, let alone one spot to swoop girls.

The beauty of this forum is someone asks questions about a place, people then chime in about their past experiences, then the person comes back and tells more info. This way we are constantly standing on each others shoulders.

So show some class and bust out some detailed Data Sheets when you come back.

2. Bring some detailed and specific Venue Data Sheets

Again, some do good here (your humble author included), but many times you get the "I swooped like 10 fly girls on my trip in whereeverthef*ckistan, it was mad easy, Yo!" And the cat doesn't even breakdown a single bar or nightclub, let alone which night is best.

I could understand if you are on some low-profile, top-secret tip, but I doubt any people like that are on the forum, and most of the cats on here have their mugs all over facebook, so that can't be the case.

Bring the noize with some restaurants, nightclubs, bars and Bases of Operations ( http://www.thegmanifesto.com/2005/09/g-m...se-of.html ). Best nights, best times, quality of girls? ratios? can you smoke there?, drugs there? closing time? etc. (If you are confused, use this as a guide: http://www.thegmanifesto.com/2010/05/bar...heets.html )

And for the cats out there that don't ever drink, break down some day Game spots.

Obviously, this forum is the dopest, but I think if we do more of both these things it will make it way fresher.

Thoughts?

100% agreed. I get PM's all the time as well from players here asking for travel suggestions, and yet, I never hear back from them on the travel forum of their own experiences - wtf? I am not calling out any names, but you mofos know who you are! [Image: smile.gif]

Here's the fuckin data sheet for fucking whereeverthef*ckistan already:

1) House of Tashkent: Hit the third door on the left. There will be a fat bitch named Olgaria. She will have AIDS. I gave it to her. Use protection.

2) Uzbek Shmoozbek: I hit up like five girls in this bitch. One of them had a gold tooth. She swallows.

3) Mykonass: for $2 you can get a blowjob and a warm beer. Worth it? No, because next door at Gone-o-reah, you can get the same thing for $1.50

another good point to add is if you have alot of experience with a city/country but you havent made a recent trip go ahead and post everything you know on it. you dont have to just return from a place to make a data sheet.

This is forum is dope, but it could still be alot better!

Also, the travel forum should be further broken down into a "Data Sheets Only!!!" and travel related question/opinion sections.

I don't know if this is even possible but it would be good if only members above "Barback" level can view attached pictures in data sheets. I would love to include pictures of notches in past trips(not to brag just to be informative) but I am not comfortable posting pictures that just anybody off google can see. I am sure I am not the only one who feels this way.

i hear what you guys are saying about some people asking questions about trips they're planning and then not reporting back but you have to keep in mind that this could be for a variety of reasons:

1) they didn't end up going
2) they took the trip but are too lazy to report back
3) they took the trip but their experience doesn't match the "general consensus" on this forum and they don't want to report back anything negative

i did some travelling in Malaysia and Indonesia a while back and the reason i didn't report back on this trip is because of 3). my experience was almost the opposite of certain other members' which can be for a couple of reasons:

a) i'm shit at game - I'm not saying i'm awesome but i'm def not shit
b) i'm ugly/dumb/uneducated/unresourceful - not true (IMO at least)
c) other members are exaggerating in terms of the quantity and quality of girls they're boning while abroad - can't verify this for myself

having said this - i will put up a report of my recent travelling....

by the by i like playa's suggestion of members above a certain level getting access to areas that newbies do not and i do definitely agree that there should be more of a "quid pro quo" in terms of answering people's questions and onus to then report back...

data sheets are not even dependent upon getting girls ect or how much game you have.

the main things ppl want to know are about day game and nightlife spots. ratio's of males to females, quality of girls. Good places to eat ect.

A data sheet doesn't have to conclude with a bang in order to be useful and informative. A trip can still be a success even if you don't get any ass. At least to me getting a notch while traveling is a bonus. This is the reason why I never travel to a place just to have sex. Also, I understand the feeling of failure and disappointment when your travels doesn't match the "general consensus." For example, I haven't gotten laid even by sub standard women in places where everybody claims getting some ass is dead easy; Brazil, Costa Rica, Miami, Cuzco and Western Europe. However, I have done well in other places Medellin, BA, Zambia and others.. I guess that's just the nature of the beast.

zanetti,

I had never thought about it, but you might be right.

I just thought there were a ton of ungrateful bastards on here. Just playing.

I agree with Dash Global and playa_with_a_passport, a Data Sheet doesn't have to have your swoop reports.

Hell, I don't even care how many girls some cat swooped in a place or what they looked like. All I want to know is where the spots to go are, places to stay, how difficult girls were, some cultural info etc.

I know if I go to the right spots, everything is going to work out for me.

People on here appreciate struggles and trials and tribulations of traveling. We have all had them. I mention on here a lot, that I get rejected by tons of girls.

So don't feel like your trip doesn't "stack up" or something. Hell, I have never been to Malaysia and Indonesia and would love to hear what it is like.

Break it down holmes.

I have been to both within the last 5 weeks (I am in Philippines now). I have been to both beach club in KL (I did not bother to go to Zouk) and Sky Garden in Kuta.

Did not bother to report back on them because they are mostly as described. Hooking up with multiple girls there is easy as anything but you are either shoring or dealing with girls who are there with female friends and, without wings with you, (I was rolling solo) the logistics are tough.

Got my Malaysian flag in KL on my second night in town but it was via internet game. My Indonesian lays were mostly from quieter venues and smaller cities (2 lays in 3 days in Lombok. 0 in a week in Bali) or day game.

If you understand asian culture then you will understand that it is not really part of their culture for "regular" women to go out to bars and clubs to meet guys.

Even in Manila, women have been throwing themselves at me in the bars here (have not been to a club yet on this trip so far) but I know I am in a shoring situation practically all the time.

The Filipina lay I got tonight (she just left half an hour ago) however was a genuine girl I met online. During the night I got busted for drinking a beer on the street by the cops when we were walking around. I did not know that it was not allowed here and it was clear that the cops were after a bribe.

After I had to pay the cops off she felt so bad and embarrased for the corruption in her country that she took me for a meal and a drink, paid for everything then came back to my hotel and banged the crap out of me.

A girl you meet in a bar is not likely to do that for you.

Another suggestion is for people to post photos for things people on here want to know about. Such as:

-Insides of bars
-Insides of clubs
-Street scene

Two Ways to Make The Travel Forum Better

Data sheets, at least for bars/clubs, tend to get outdated very quickly. For example, at Bulgaria's beaches, this summer the hot spots were different from last summer's, and I guess next summer they would be still different. Some new local cat decides to trump last year's hottest club and drops some cash on a remodel and promoters, and there you have it, the crowd goes to a different place. So it's important to pay attention to the dates of the trip reports.
And as LaVinci says, word spreads around, so just by virtue of a certain place being known for good girl-guy ratio, it will rapidly deteriorate, as the reputation of such places attracts dudes like shit attracts flys. So these places never last.

lavinci,

I got where you are coming from. If for instance, you know a bar in Estonia with 50 girls to each guy, and all the girls love Americans, it is understandable to keep the place on the DL.

I was more addressing the threads where some cat asks 75 questions, and you give him 75 dope moves, and the guy doesn't even tell you how his trip went. Or bring any value back to the forum.

I like the idea of the "secret section" of the forum for dope moves. Maybe Roosh would be down with this?

K-man,

"Data sheets, at least for bars/clubs, tend to get outdated very quickly."

Yeah, I am familiar with this phenomenon. Still, there are many places that stand the test of time, or streets or parts of the city.

This Data would be helpful for all.

Two Ways to Make The Travel Forum Better

I will be completely blunt:

The idea of creating a private forum is nonsense and stupid. Soon as the forum becomes "private" you will loose knowledge cause the ability to "recruit" new forum members will be lost, cause only dull information will be available for new members.
In the long run you will loose more than you gain.

Moreover if there´s a good spot, tell it to all for benefits or keep it to yourself. Believing than only a small number of elitists "enlightened" should benefit from the best information isn´t my way of thinking, unless obviously there´s private info about a member.

A private section could be created only if there´s personal info forum members want to disclose (name, pics, age, etc) and make personal questions, infos, etc. And probably would be up to Roosh to invite the members.

The lack of reporting back really sucks. It was already sugested that Roosh could send some mails asking if the forum had helped them out. I specially remenber this diplomat dude that was going to Russia. But in the end even though it sucks big time, truth is u cannot demand people to report back (even though they should).

just my two cents.

This forum is public meaning anyone can read this. Perhaps some of us don't think it's smart sharing valuable data and experiences we've gathered with the whole world just like that so any Joe Schmuck who googles this website for the first time can get access to our foreign hangout places and experiences one has gone through, and then comes here and does whatever the fuck he wants, and then spreads the word and 3 other Joe Schmuck's come by to your hangout place. Look what happened to the once fairly exclusive and virgin-like Medellin; you can't even go there anymore because it's gotten so overrun. Why did this happen? Exactly because of this. The word started spreading and it didn't even take few years for the place to become total gringoland.

I have an issue with sharing experiences just with anybody online. As far as google is concerned, a few google searches with few words and my potential wife and kids or coworkers and friends can track me down and read where and what I have done. It is that easy. I don't need that.

But I do want to share my experiences with other players who travel to slay girls and do likewise. I believe in what Gmanifesto is saying, we stand on each other shoulders and by chiming in we contribute to each other's knowledge and perspective and enhance each others travels by sharing essential tips. This is dope in essence. In order for the forum to improve it's tightness and self-helping each other, we have to change the way it is now. There should be a way for us to share just between each other--privacy options.

I'm all for sharing and exchanging information with other players who do the same, but I repeat, I have a few of my own secret places and I don't want to share the places where I go to unwind and relax just with anybody who gets a laptop and reads about it and decides to crash. I am picky and selective and I rather spread the word to other like-minded folks from this forum with class who I know that they travel too and have shared their share of experiences.

I come from a hip Eastern European beach town and I rather poke myself than just write on public boards so everybody can read how virgin the place is and how nice the girls are, and then next time I come by I see dozens of stag parties on my own turf. That's the way I see it. Am I right or not? Do you rather share your local hangouts with guys who you read their data sheets and you know they're stand-up guys with experience or will you invite just anyone from the street for the fun? Let's share the wealth of information but between each other, other respected travelers who make an effort to write a data sheet, not just anybody. And I mean real 100% solid information, not just "Oh yeah that place is cool you should check out the party district".

So let's make it private and check out how much better it turns out to be.

Well, hey thanks for adding value to the forum pal. I guess those 2 reps were enough to allow you to validate the quality of everyone else's posts. And judge the class of us Joe Schmucks. As you said, I guess you re just picky and selective. No need to explain, bud, it s easy to see your classless and don't care about the forum.

Not everyone here is a certified playboy with knowledge of the latest and greatest hot spots such as yourself. A lot of us are just trying to get insight about other cultures, places, women, etc. Learn from the respected members of the forum.

I don't travel a hell of a lot. I'm not an expert player. And although I might not have much to share to the forum as you, your idea of a class system for 'private members' sharing 'secret information' just demonstrate your just as much a leech as those who don't post back after trips.

You are a real class act dude.

For all those members who help guys like me out - a sincere THANK YOU.

Private forum doesn't work, as experience has showed.

I like the data sheets idea.

If you don't want to share your hot spots that's fine, but if you're mining the forum for spots that actually help you and then you refrain from sharing, you're a piece of shit. I suspect those users don't even bother to register.

The data sheet forum would be a great idea. As of right now, it can be a bit overwhelming finding the relevant information, in some of the more or less never-ending threads.

A private sub-part of the forum wouldn't be a bad idea either. That or at least the need to register to read along.

I would love to hear back from guys ESPECIALLY if they have negative experiences, so I can know what NOT to do if I ever go there. That's just as valuable if not more than the, "Yeah, I went to whereverthef*ckistan and banged three girls in three nights. It was awesome... peace" type posts that I'm already pretty sick of.

Also, here's a newsflash: traveling isn't just about girls. Great food, great sites to see, great adventures, awesome beaches. I love hearing about those too.

There are no shortage of girls in the world. You can always find them if you want to. That's why I post on the Travel board and not the Girls board.

Makes me proud.
