"Parting Shots"- Yes or No?
08-23-2013, 01:17 PM
I've noticed that after conversations (gaming, formal, or casual) during the "disengaging" phase, I tend to give a "Parting Shot"- a raised-voice, goodbye phrase such as "come by later!" or "we should catch up sometime!" Is this a bad idea? I usually receive nothing more than a noncommittal response, which may look weak even after a tight/dominant conversation.
I don't get self conscious or weird about it, so it doesn't affect my overall game, but is there a finesse to employing this or should I drop it from my tool belt?

I usually go with
"Peace"
or
"See ya"

I always make sure they leave the last text. That way they'll get all antsy waiting for you to respond.

I like 'see you in hell' - I use this quite a lot. Also when I toast if we have a drink I like to say 'to us'
