I'm not sure if this question is of much relevance or value on this forum though I have seen and read some threads and posts in here on internet marketing and it looks like there are some members here that are quite solid and successful in this area. And some brilliant minds also. I'll probably also sign up on other forums such as IMGrind and FastWebFormula etc. I might get some good answers and tips there also.

So here's my questions:

Does anyone here have experience doing marketing on Twitter? Anyone successful? I'm reading articles such as "How to Use Twitter for Business and Marketing" etc and they're straight forward such as "Sponsored Tweets" etc. However, I am also interested in successfully "hacking" Twitter from a marketing perspective. Like going viral etc. Of course in a positive and good way. If its of any relevance, I am targeting the english speaking market: US, Australia, England etc although European countries who speak decent english is also targeted (Germany, Holland, Scandi countries, etc.)

It's like a catch22: I can only message people who are following me but how to get them to follow me in the first place?

Any tips or links to good articles and online resources?
