MSM demonizes man over hamter's lies

MSM demonizes man and ruins his life over hamster's made up story of how he refused to help during a Hurricane:

The context and position of the reporter are clearly on the side of the woman from the very beginning, playing up the victim at the hands of a man angle as much as possible. Anderson "The Catcher" Cooper continues to talk about how immoral this guys actions were.

If anyone was guilty of a crime, it was the mother for recklessly endangering her kids. That storm did not come as a surprise. What were they doing out.

And Anderson Cooper, what a sanctimonious faggot. Clearly raised by women only.

To be fair, what I gathered from the story is they both were just confused about what was going on.

The guy didn't hear her beating on the front door - obviously because of the storm - and there was so much confusion he didn't even realize it was a woman when she tried breaking in through the back. He thought it was a guy trying to get him to come outside but it was probably her asking him to help her get the kids (or maybe he confused that completely too). In any case, she thought he was turning her away, but he was just refusing to go outside.

And then of course the media is jumping in and trying to latch onto and blow up the story.

It was obviously a hectic, chaotic situation in the middle of a storm and both were confused. I wouldn't necessarily demonize either of them.

I am not sympathetic to this dude whatsoever. My opinion is that he was aware that the woman (man) was in distress, and he chose not to let her in his house. I don't think he made that decision out of malice or ill-intent. Instead, he is just one of those dudes who is cowardly and always chooses to not get involved. Sometimes that can be wise, other times, not so much. This was one of those 'other times'.

I don't see any places in the woman's story where I think she was lying.

Unfortunately, some dipshit politician will use this story as a platform to create a new law that makes it mandatory to help others in, "times of emergency." And of course, that will be a solution that is worse than the crisis.

edit:

and of course, she shouldn't have been out in the storm in the first place. You could make an arugment that her very bad decision making was evidence enough to consider her too risky to let into your house. But really?

Also, I think Anderson Cooper is full of shit. If Anderson Cooper were in the same situation as the homeowner and a redneck dude with two boys tried to get refuge within his house, Anderson would have not let them in either. And I strongly doubt that that story would have ever made prime time on CNN.

I am sorry, but I just can't blame the guy. First of all, why should you risk your life for random strangers when it was made freaking clear there's a Hurricane on the way.

This forum loves bashing on people that mooch off the government. What'll happen if the government runs out of money and can't support these people's lifestyle anymore? Yeah they're going to come knocking on your door, asking you to let them in. And if you don't, you'll be blamed for their kids' starvation.

Honestly, it's 100% the woman's fault. Driving in a Hurricane, what did she expect? This is what happens when people don't head warnings. You want to drive in a hurricane with your kids? Fine, but don't blame anyone else when you walk outside the car and your kids get swept away.

EDIT: I find it amusing that Gary in that YT video said a police representative said off-screen the guy should be criminally charged. That's funny. Imagine the woman had given her kids poison and asked the guy for a cure. Would anyone seriously charge the dude for the kids' death? She'd be the one charged. Why isn't she being charged here?

I wouldn't let anyone into my house. But eh if it was me I probably wouldn't let anyone know I was home either. Selfish but smart. If he had let her into his house he'd have probably been charged with rape. Yay Murica!

The mom should be prosecuted for manslaughter.
