Reframing anti-male words

Reframing anti-male words

Feminists have pretty successfully re-framed the words "slut" and "cunt" away from their previous meanings.

I have had several girls publicly tell me "Don't use the word 'slut'" if I've ever said it. I have had to endure the same old feminist diatribe that the word is degrading to women etc. It's a bad word. It's meant to be degrading. Like bastard or asshole or dickwad, it's not a compliment. But anyway, they have sucessfully turned it on its head. Now if you call a girl a slut, it's probably more likely that the person USING the word will suffer social condemnation for even saying such a word.

Cunt has undergone the same transition, maybe even more extreme. It seems like some people consider "Cunt" possibly one of the most offensive words in the English language. People even say "The C Word" now instead of "cunt". Again, it's meant to be an insult, and not a nice word, that's the whole point. But regardless, if you call someone a "cunt" now you're likely to get piled on by feminists. The word now backfires.

So do you ever try to do this with words used to shame men?

Feminists certainly use many words to shame men, and the exact same dynamic is at play. They call a guy a "creep" or whatever, it's just a word meant to bring disgrace on the man and signal that he's low-value. This is shaming 101. And feminists are fabulous at it.

Should men stop women every time they say "creep" and give them a lecture about how the word is never to be used, and how it is degrading and wrong to treat people like that, and she should be embarassed for saying it, and should apologize?

I doubt many of us truly care enough, and there haven't been generations of boys passing through Masculinism 101 to be indoctrinated to say that sort of thing. It would also be exhausting. I doubt most men are born with the natural "harping" ability that feminists have here...

This was inspired by stumbling upon this website. It goes into the usual "don't use the word slut" spiel.
