Just found out the next Ashes series (in Austrailia) starts just 3 months after the current one finishes! WTF?!

They have tended to be 18 months apart, but the following summer, Australia is hosting the cricket world cup, so I think they brought it forward. It is still the highest earning cricket series for both countries so they would never reduce the length of the series.
