I have been lifting for almost four years, but never trained neck directly. I have a mostly ectomorph frame, with a naturally thin neck.
I measured it at the thinnest part (right underneath the chin) this morning to 15 inches. This needs to be fixed. Not only is it an aesthetic issue, but a strong neck will protect you from whiplash and other injuries.
Long term goal is 17 inches, for now let´s see if I can get 15.5, then 16.. etc.
Your experience from training the neck? The fighters and wrestlers on here are for sure sitting on experience on this.
I am starting off with these isometric holds.

Then later neck harness training and/or neck bridges.
