Those guys are not even scapegoats. The real "terrorists" are harboured not far behind them though...

In terms of the (mostly) Pakistani's they are targetting, these guys are not going around "durka durka" waiting to blow shit up, they are mostly political and military targets related to the war in Afghanistan.

Sometimes the Americans decided to kill people like 16 year old Tariq Aziz, who was known to be against drone strikes. As far as anyone knows, that was enough to get a missle sent into a van he was traveling in, on the way to a protest against drone strikes in Pakistani parliment with his cousins.

Well, according the Pakistani's, it is "the Americans" who are doing this. A little bit more accurately, it is the CIA.

But it is also the American people with their apathy and lack of knowledge about such issues who are allowing these sorts of injustices to happen.

If the Boston Bomber was in a house with a whole bunch of people in America, they wouldn't just bomb the house and then just write off the people as collateral damage! There would be outrage, it just would not happen!

I guess the Pakistani people can't help but feel they are thought of disposible "towel heads" or some such thing, and these sort of prevailing negative and racist stereotypes about A-rabs in American culture, allow these guys who are pushing the button to do what they do. Since when did killing women and children become at all acceptable? Especially in a situation that is not even war!

I'd say the worst "love/hate" relationships are in Europe. Walk into any Starbucks and you'll see at least one table of kids wearing Hollister, listening to their iPods, while talking trash on the U.S.

At least the Pakistanis hate us for legitimate reasons and are willing to be open about it, Europeans cover themselves from head to toe in American fashion, music, social media, etc. while criticizing us for the most trivial reasons.
