Hey all - really love this forum. Some excellent info in here!
Maybe you can help me - I've got late October to mid December available to go back to South America. My Spanish is excellent (I've been mistaken as a native Spaniard on several occasions, I'm actually Irish) and I was leaning towards Colombia... but I hear that I'll be going during the rainy season!
So my questions for anyone is: Should I take this into consideration? Will it dampen (pun intended) my fun during my stay there? If so can you recommend an alternative in South America? I have already lived in Argentina (3 months) and Brazil (9 months) so would prefer to discover something new.
My priority is somewhere that would make it easy to get a nice apartment with Internet to work from, some cool parties, fun girls, nice nightlife, relatively safe and modern (by South American standards anyway - I never had problems even in "dangerous" cities like Recife in Brazil) and interesting activities during the day. Am Reading Roosh's Colombia guide right now to see if any info in there helps!
