I like where this trend is heading. The university system needs to be disrupted.
I'm wondering the extent to which you'd still have to physically show up to TA lectures and stuff.
If it is literally virtual from the first day until graduation, I wonder if it's possible to do a digital nomad style education?
Imagine living in Bangkok, Saigon, and Bali during the course of this entire program. You could baseline your expenses down to 1000 dollars a month if you wanted to.
I don't know how long this masters program is but if it is one year long then that's about $15K USD for living expenses and $7K USD for tuition - total under $25K for tuition and expenses. Not too shabby.
