My first solo trip: Montreal

This might be my first time posting in this very enriched and prestigious travel forum.

I have been following it for some time and it has caused me to ignite some travel ambition of some sort.

I want to solo travel for the first time in my life. This will be a big step forward for me. I will be 20 next month and I want to acquire the experience and confidence that comes with travelling to a place solo to enjoy some time alone, experience fantastic cities and interact with an entire different group of women.

I am still a beginner when it comes to game, although I have made such vast improvements since I started almost a year ago. I know that to have a realistic goal of banging on my trip I can't be in a state of approach anxiety. I know I will have to be approaching in high numbers at night venues, during my time in the city during the day, and possibly do some online dating pipelining beforehand. Meeting girls will not be a problem at all, this is a part of the game I do fine. I will just have to be very focused on the close to make it happen, and be very direct.

Having said that, I won't go on this trip with bang expectations. If I do I will have a very fond memory, if not, I will still make sure I enjoy my time solo in the city so that I have a fond memory of the trip regardless.

I am planning to do this in late August, probably the last week of the month. I want to spend at least 3-4 full days in the city. Perhaps arrive there late Wednesday and leave on Sunday.

I live in the Toronto area so I will be commuting most likely by bus.

My budget is as low as possible, as I am a student with summer time off with part time income. But not entirely frugal.

I want to stay somewhere that is accessible to night life and hot city spots.

I know there is an excellent Montreal thread here, so I will be studying this for the next couple months: http://www.rooshvforum.network/thread-9218.h...t=montreal

I am looking for feedback on my current plan. Should I be looking at hostels, and are they a great option for logistics? If I go on dates, should I focus on getting back to their place for a bang? How much money should I realistically expect to spend, including club/bar covers, accommodation fees, food, etc?

Also would like to add that I am very comfortable doing my club/bar game sober. Although for the sake of performing at my peak I would probably be having a couple drinks on my nights out. Definitely not planning on being drunk at all.

This is what comes to mind so far.

This is the most I have been excited all year!

My first solo trip: Montreal

hey there. i'm originally from QC, became an anglo Montrealer.
I'd say your plan sounds good, except for the very obvious thing, 4 days is a short time certainly..

there's 2 sides to this city, a french majority and the "rest."
Personally speaking where I feel most at ease, near Concordia, but that's not French-speaking at all.

for FR, there's the Rue St-Denis you can check out, St-sulpice, les 3 brasseurs, les foufounes électriques (aussi nommé les foufs [lay fuf] )

for logistics, many many fr quebecers live in Laval, it's a shithole and I never figured out why you'd do that, takes 50 mins to go there. the population of the city grows by like 500,000 during work days..

make sure you find a place downtown unless you're going to hit other places up like the Montreal Uni. Reason is, there's a hill smack in the center of town, takes a while to go round it by metro. west nice expensive anglo, east chaotic french cheap no metro.

metro closes at 12:40.
