I will be driving from Toronto to Washington DC at the end of the month. I am just wondering the best route to take to avoid all construction traffic- the bane of my existence. Any thoughts on this would help.

Good thing you are not taking the bus and risk getting decapitated

Decapitation is not completely out of the question, given my co-pilot.
But thanks.
Any tips on navigating through NY/PA?

If it's a holiday weekend you will see traffic.
Avoid city beltways if you can since that's where congestion is a problem. I don't think it will be that bad though.

Just traveled to Melbourne [as in Australia, not Florida] CDB speed limit is lowered to 40kmh too, very turtle like [sigh]
Traffic is FUCKED, and the monkeys don't know how to drive either
Some stupid thing in the middle of the road called a tram [trolley] screws it up even more
PASS, major brain damage
"Lifes about, shooting your load"
