how to make some money in Eastern Europe

Teaching English is always an option, but pay can get real low on some seasons in some places like <300usd/month, but living can cost at least 500-600/month(~300 for rent and utilities, 200 for food, 100 for everything else). Is it better to move to another place that pays better to teach like Russia or find a new way to work? Online business and export/import seem viable, but how do u do it, like drop shipping?. But it is hard to make like 1000-2000usd/month in these places?

If you're a technical guy you can be a remote phone support agent. They make $3-$5 per call answered. You have to usually enter the call summary into some database for company to data mine and improve their product.

What about translations and finance stuff? I tried Odesk, but didn't have any ratings.

It is hard anywhere in the world to make 2-3x the average income. If there were an easy way, local guys would do it too - even before you, since they have home turf advantage.
