She calls her self K Street Kate? She is claiming K Street - which is known for high powered lawyers and lobbyists.
Yet she is 31, lives in a studio apartment, does not own a car, does not have a K Street job/career and does not even own the clothes she wears? She is pretty much a bum.
I have a hunch one of her friends at the Post got her this publicity. I for one refuse to click her her page and increase views.
Yep.
She is the equivalent of a 30K Millionaire.
You know she is living off of credit card's, daddy, and generous benefactors.
But she'll eventually marry a lobbyist and they'll be heralded as the latest "power couple." She'll get rich off a man's back and may even end up with a reality TV show on Bravo.
She's symptomatic of larger problems but I won't hate.
Game recognize game.

I don't want to pick on Kate in particular. This comment is to address the women in this entire scene, some of whom I've met. You know how you hear those stories about how such-and-such guy made millions in sports or business but it all got taken by some woman?
THESE ARE THOSE WOMEN.
This is a specific scene filled with social climbers and money-oriented people. This should not be where you should even want to fish. The reason being is that for what you end up with, it's not worth the headache. This goes for one-nighters too -- most of the ones worth banging once were worth it in college. And also, while we like to joke about how most women can smell money, these women really do seem to have that quality. Even if you're well off, this is an unattractive quality in a woman.
For whatever reason though, some men feel that after they've made $$$, they haven't "arrived" until they have a socialite on their arm. But from what I see, most guys can do better when it comes to how these women look and most would not want to put up with the massive, massive high maintenance these women require.
The part of this article about Kate about her two closets full of clothes reminds of someone I used to date who had to hire a separate, second psychologist specifically for her "shopping addiction." She's nice-looking but not so nice looking you'd want to get stuck with that bill, literally or figuratively.
See my above comments about the prostitute-in-all-but-name I met on Craig's List for more of the ugly underbelly of this scene.
