I'm heading to Bolivia/Peru in august. Im aware that neither bolivian nor peruvian chicks are exactly good looking. Aside from the beautifull landscape Im expecting to score a few gringas.

My itinerary is based on 1) places i want to see and 2) possibility of meeting goodlooking gringas

Uyuni - La Paz - Copacabana - Puno(???) - Arequipa - Cusco

I dont have any info on Copacabana and Puno.

I was in Copacabana and Puno back in 2006. I don't remember much going on, maybe a few bars where backpackers were hanging out. If you want to party in Peru, you're probably
better off in Lima or Cusco.

That being said, it is beautiful. From Copacabana, you can go out on the lake to... I think it's Isla de Sol. It's a pretty nice day hike. I rember there were some girls on the boat I took, so it's likely you'll find a few women to hang out with.

Sorry I can't be more help on the nightlife, but here is what I can tell you. I was there in August and it gets pretty cold at night. Most of these hotels dot have heat either, so you sleep under two or three heavy alpaca blankets. And that can be rough if you're having a hard time with the altitude. I remember havif a hard time sleeping, because the blankets felt so heavy on my chest as I was already having trouble breathing.

If you're not used to dealing with altitude, be prepared. It can be at times naseauting and at times disorienting, which will cut down on the amount of time you want to be out partying. Not sure how much you can do in advance to prepare, but the longer you're in the area the more acclimated you'll get.

When you go to Machu Pichu, you'll probably pass through Cusco. Give yourself a week to party up there, the Plaza de Armas is rockin every night and the girls are loose, both local and foreign. If you're a gringo, you'll get free drink coupons from all the promoters and its easy to have a night out there without spending a cent on booze, especially during the week. The Inka girls aren't the best looking, but girls from Lima can be pretty damn sexy, and depending on the time of year you could find quite a few of them on holiday in Cusco partying.

The best advice I can give you is to start practicing your Spanish, if you don't speak it already. Your value skyrockets as a gringo that speaks Spanish in Cusco/Lima and will set you miles apart from the rest of the backpacking hoard. In the eyes of both the local girls and the gringas.

Do some reading up on Mancora too, I haven't been there and it's a a bit out of the way, however I hear very good things.

Mancora is good fun though quite small, it's just a street basically with hotels, bars and restaurants and a beach. The locals tend to be found on the beach bars at night. Local women are keen on gringos, beer is cheap, cocaine is plentiful and if you like surfing it can be done there.

I´ll have 5 days in Cusco. The original plan was to do the inca trail but after some insight on nightlife I quickly changed my mind. I speak decent spanish, dont think language will be a problem.
The peruvian girls I have met were nothing much, Ill most probably just focus on the gringas.

As for Mancora, maybe there´s nothing there in the winter. I will check.

Don't miss out on Machu Picchu because of some low quality Peruana chickas and skanky backpacker pussy. It's a must see even if you do just take the train to Agaus Caliente and bus / walk up the next morning.

You'd be a fool to miss it.

I wouldn't normally recommend hostels but the Loki Hostel in Mancora is one of the best I've ever seen because it's more like a resort with nice swimming pool area, sun loungers, pool side bar and it's right on the beach. It's really cool and you can have a lot of fun, lots of banging going on BUT you can't take locals in they aren't even allowed in the bar area so backpackers only. It's pretty wild with all the cheap alcohol and drugs available.

My experience in Lima is pretty good, just go out somewhere in clubs in Miraflores/ Barranco, talk Spanish to girls, take them to dance and go for the kiss. I had sex with one girl for 2 weeks or something, and kissed two other girls in clubs. Some friend of me fucked other Peruanas as well. Easy! I liked Lima more than Cusco..
