How much do you lift?

Post your personal best for each exercise here, along with the relevant specifics.

I will go first. For all these I do 3 sets with 10 repetitions each. I mostly try to do the exercises realtively correctly, although not religiously so and this is an area I could improve in. If I "cheat" obviously the following numbers become higher:

Bench press: 80 kg (possibly 85, can't remember)

Pulldown: 90 kg

Row: 75 kg

Dumbbell press (laying down): 32,5 kg (each)

Presses with barbell (standing up): 40 kg

Deadlift: 70 kg

Squats: 60 kg

I'm relatively new to the last three exercices.

Not three sets of ten reps, but rather my max (a rep or two-three):

Squat: 120 kg or 265 lbs
Deadlift: 160 kg or 353 lbs
Bench press: 115 kg or 253 lbs
- Dumbbell bench press: 100 lbs each
Military press: 75 kg or 165 lbs
Pull ups: bodyweight + 40 kg or 88 lbs

This thread should include height and weight.

193cm 84kg

I'll just include my all time highs

Bench 92.5kg
Squat: 140kg (never really maxed the way I have done in bech)
Deadlift: 140kg(this was maybe a few reps, never wanna max this exercise either. You should have perfect from to do so.)

You will love this program (Wendler's 5/3/1) Me being 22, 5'3'', a buck 30 this is like cheating the system. 5/3/1 program with Crossfit/SEALFit/Military Athlete/High Intensity Training= money....of course eat right, hydrate and sleep well.

Mil-Press: 120lbs 6x
Deadlift: 310lbs 3x
Bench (Bar touches chest then arms straightened): 185lbs 10x
Back Squat (Hips go bellow knees on bottom of squat) 235lbs 5x

Best part about this is if you're running late for work or school. Just go in the gym knock the three sets out and done. Sure you probably didn't sweat but you got your strength work out out of the way.

How much do you lift?

1.80m, 75KG

Lifting since August.

Bench: 80kg
Deadlift:162.5kg
Weighted dips: bodyweight + 40kg (115kg)
Power shrug: 200kg x 5
barbell push press: 60kg x2
one arm military press: 24kg x2
one arm clean and jerk: 34kg x3

Squat: Only got to 100kg to parallel, but I've only been parallel squatting for 3 weeks now. I was using massive weights with a limited range of motion, but was frustrated about the fact I couldn't compare my squat to other peoples, so I've switched to the parallel squat.

How much do you lift?

back in the day I used to be able to bench 100kg for 5 reps, but focus more on cardio and toning now. I am 6ft 5" and 95 kgs.

Bit of a challenge for the gym lovers.....see how many reps you can do bench pressing an Olympic Bar with no weights on it......I once did 400 in a gym challenge and nobody came close......not as easy as it sounds.....

How much do you lift?

My knees are to weak to go for my Mac in squats. I've attempted 375 and done it a few times but I shy away from it due to my knees. On the super squat machine I can do 700.

Squat:375
Bench: 205
Dead:315

I'm 5-8, 162 lbs

How much do you lift?

For some time I have put technique > weight, so I finally have achieved what I think is respectable for my body frame in terms of weight.

5'8, 152 lbs.
These are my 5 rep max values.. I'll estimate my 1RM.

Bench: 175 lbs (205)
Overhead Press: 120 lbs (140)
Deadlift: 280 lbs (330)
Squat:245 lbs (280)

I think squats are my strongest lift, followed by overhead press for my body composition and height.

Regardless, everyone here who is at least mildly serious about strength should have a squat value that is 1.5x their weight, a bench that is at least your body weight, and aim to deadlift 2x body weight.

How much do you lift?

5' 10", 165.
Bench: 270
Squat: 360
Dead: 355
OH Press: 160

My Deadlift has always trailed my Squat, which seems backwards.

Been lifting for almost 9 years, seriously for about five of those. Started at 115 at the same height lol.

I rarely test actual 1RMs so these are estimates. They aren't guesses or calculations, but I can generally tell where I'm at by where I'm at in my workouts.

Bench is probably between 390-410 competition style (with a pause). I don't do touch and go so I have no idea.
Recently had a hip issue going on so haven't gone heavy on squat/deadlift in a month or so.
Squat was right around 600, probably upper 500s.
Deadlift was probably somewhere in the mid 600s.

How much do you lift?

There is no powerlifting in the olympics and I am not an olympic lifter (Clean and jerk and the snatch). Even at the world level in powerlifting there are plenty of people stronger than me.

Squat (Below parallel, free weight....all others should be omitted from this thread)
300x5

Deadlift
365x5

About to switch to the Texas Method. You guys that are on 5/3/1 and don't squat 300lbs yet, you are probably fucking yourself over. 5/3/1 is a fairly advanced program. If you squat under 300lbs you could probably still see gains adding weight to your lifts weekly, as opposed to every 3ish weeks. Hell, you may be able to add weight to your squats each workout still, depending on your weight. Don't get caught up trying to jump programs too quickly, you will only hurt your progress down the road.

Good call! You could throw in some short sprints or few sets of kettlebell swings every few days (just for bedroom endurance perhaps [Image: wink.gif] )but yeah, all the extraneous Crossfit shit is unnecessary and grinds you down.

I don't do maxes, no interest, but typically I do:

Bench: 155lb X 12, 185lb X 10, 205lb X 8, and 225lb X 7.

Squat: I prefer the sleds to the barbells. I put 270lbs in weights on the sled, and then whatever the sled itself weighs.

Deadlift: Don't do these. I do lat pulldowns of 180lbs X 10-12 reps 3 sets (plus whatever the machine weighs.)

I'm 6' 195lbs, late 30s.

It's important to note that my legs are genetically muscular. I see guys squatting way more than me, and their legs are not even half as muscular as mine. My chest I have to work on like crazy to see max gains.

How much do you lift?

6'2 190lbs (184cm 85.2kg)
Been training 9/12 months of the year since Aug 2011.

1RM's
Squat- 150kg (330lbs)
Deadlift- 180kg (400lbs)
Bench- 100kg (220lbs)
OHP/Military- 85kg (~185lbs)

Also I can run a 5 minute mile at the same damn time, which isn't too shabby.

Summertime I can't train so much with heavy weights because my home gym doesn't have them while my uni gym does. 20y.o. also.
