Niagra Falls (ON)

Searching the forums has yielded nothing. I am thinking of moving my cab driving game to Niagra Falls ASAP. What are you Ontario guys impressions of Niagra Falls Ontario in the Summer?

The 2-3 times I have been there I remember hoards of people everywhere. Crowded streets, packed restaurants. Lots of different cultural girls walking around, and this is during the day. Never been there at night but I assume its the same.

Anyone have some big experience with this place?

Niagara is a great place to spend time in the summer, being a tourist town the people seem friendlier.

One of my friends was at Club Rumours last week and said it was alright, he also stumbled upon some cougar joint that had decent talent.

The poker games are better in Buffalo. But you don't want to go there.

You want to know the only thing you can assume about a broken down old man? It's that he's a survivor.

Looked like a Touristy Trap kind of place with excellent day game potential. Not sure about night game but it looked like it had some bars and clubs.

i have been to niagara like 8 or so times and have been at dragonfly nightclub on each occasion. that place is not good - it's the usual club fare of large groups out to 'celebrate' something like a birthday or bachelorette. i say this despite the fact that i did successfully pull the last time i was there 3 weeks ago - i think i just got lucky.

rumours might be better for pulling based on what i've heard - it's supposed to be full of young trashy girls from buffalo.

I mean its Niagra Falls, of course its a tourist trap town. The population is only 90,000.

@bodmon why do you keep going back to the same place if you don't like it? What was your general feeling of the city outside of dragonfly? Lots of hot girls or lots of families/retirees?

No one here has set up shop in NF before?

I agree with the the above about Dragonfly.

However, I did close there last summer with an American honey, while celebrating a female friends bday with her friends from Toronto.

Having a room in the same Casino where Dragonfly was in, as well as having female wing invite the girls into the hot tub afterwards did help.

I wouldn't bother trying to go with just the boys though. Cant remember the last time I saw so many drunk dudes in tight shirts fighting in a club.

Can't believe no one here has mentioned Sundowner. Im not really a strip club connoisseur but I haven't seen as many attractive strippers under one roof any where in north America. Yes, Vegas is nice but the girls there have heard it all and are ridicously spoiled. Rudebwoy and I scooped up visiting Quebec and T.O strippers a few times there and in the hole in the ground joint beside it. Sundowner had a high influx of Europeans, while the place beside of was as urban as it gets.

Rumours seems way to young and touristy to me. Not really into places without dress codes.

There is a new place out there called club Seven. Anybody been there?

Cheap destination with a lot of American girls there to booze it up. My friends say its a good place to party cheap and pick up American girls and general GTA tourists.

I can get a cab job here very easily and since the city is small it wont be much work to learn the area. I am probably driving to Niagara Falls next week to lock down a place to stay for the end of the month. Worse case scenario there seems to be an abundance of carpentry jobs in the area I can fall back on.

Thanks for the pointers guys.

I go to Niagara Falls all the time. Its more of a family tourist town. They have some nice strip clubs on Lundys Lane that offer some expenensive pay action if youre into that(im not). Most of the cab drivers dont take on too many fares from what ive seen plus the weather is only nice during the summer months. Give it a try but if I were you id become a cabbie in the much larger Toronto area. Plus Toronto is very diverse if you like a variety of women like I do.

How positive are you on this? I phoned 2 different NF cab companies today and they both told me $1k a week was attainable. Apparently there is a lot of cab rides from NF area to Buffalo airport and obviously the casino/club area back to other hotels. I doubt I would stay here in the Winter.

I refuse to live in TO, I would go back to Ottawa instead but its harder to be a driver in big cities because you need to learn a huge area.

I never considered the airports but Niagara Falls is really small, bro. You can get to most areas by walking, especially when the weather is nice during the busiest summer season. I just see so many cabs waiting for fares that i didn't realize it was that profitable. For example, at the newer Casino there is like a 20 cab line up. Now they get filled but its always a 10 to 15 minute wait. Now consider that your fare is usually going 5-10 minutes away to the smaller casino/clifton hill area. That fare at most is 7 bucks. Ive never paid more than that. Its just doesnt seem profitable when you have to pay for your own gas, rent the cab in hourly blocks, etc. Anyways, go for it. Im not in that industry and I probably only see a small glimpse of the action. And if you can get those airports, youre set!
