Schilling has a history of getting into trouble for expressing his views publicly, going back to his playing days. The lesson is nobody is immune to Social Justice in our society. This illustrates the importance of keeping your mouth shut at work and on social media if you care about preserving your professional position. It also reinforces the importance of being able to express your views privately with likely minded men within our community.

Last summer, ESPN suspended Schilling for sharing a meme on several social media platforms, comparing Muslim extremists to Nazis.

Following up on this, this is a great example of the "logic" that the progressives use.

Schilling (or someone of his ilk): Muslim extremists, like ISIS, are ultra-nationalists that use fear tactics and killings of dissenters in order to maintain authoritarian rule over their territory. They even go as far as committing genocide against minorities. Based on that description, ISIS and Muslim extremism are in many ways exactly the same as Nazism.

Society is at the point that what was once considered (and still actually is ) mental illness must be accepted and viewed as that which is normal.

Tradition and natural human nature (raising a family with the male as the head and the woman being the feminine role) is primitive and "neanderthal" like.

Therefore, anyone who speaks against what is really mental illness ( transgenders, the whole LGTF deal, the whole switching of "gender" roles, et al ) aka, the prevailing "enlightened" wisdom of the day, is ostracized as a primitive, lost in the past and cretinous.

So, in today's gay world, accepting, celebrating and practicing ( and better yet having ) mental illness is considered the height of being enlightened and wise.

Trying to box the psychological condition of mental illness in its proper place ( or at least what was once considered its proper place) is primitive and barbaric.

It is astonishing to live in an age where reason and logic, inescapable logic, presented in an argument, still won't convince or even phase the SJW or leftist you're arguing with.

Perhaps this is the only time in human history where logical argument (which has always been accepted as how debates/arguments/issues were to be settled reasonably and conclusively) is no longer accepted as a way to reach consensus.

Washington Post is currently running an article on the online edition front, page, above the fold, with the title "The radicalization of Curt Schilling." He's been fired, time to for the ritual display of the corpse! Here's a wrongthinker, if you wrongthink, we'll get you too! I love that his views are "radicalized" - seems the MSM is quicker to use that on a conservative than a jihadi terrorist. Typical SJW tactics. I wonder if there will be any more coordinated articles smearing him. I didn't see any on a quick search this morning but won't be surprised when they show up.

I was surprised when this went down - I didn't realize he was still with ESPN. Given his political views I thought he had already been sacked/quit from there.

When I let berncucks around me know that I support Trump, they ask me stuff like, "...how? Somewhere down the line you must have been radicalized..."

Leftists and the Washington Post understand the power of language, framing, and pigeonholing. But men who understand game can translate those skills to this arena as well...

I'm thinking I should start hiring some outlandish M2F tranny's to use female restrooms in distinctively leftist colleges & universities.

It's what you campaigned for girls!

ESPN was so cool back in the 1980's. Then they decided to promote their own agendas.
