Pretty morbid, basically the costs ($6bn) are so high they ensure it is a one way trip.
It shows how weird our world has become when it isn't governments, or other more traditional avenues that take us forward, but a bloody reality shows. Charlie Brooker's Black Mirror was actually rather profound in this regard. What was interesting was that on the application page, the amount of men applying is ridiculously high compared to women. We know why. Men seek adventure and strive to discover and explore, women on the whole simply don't care for such ventures. I'd like to see Lindy West on a Mars trip, just for the comedy value.
Without patriarchy we'd still be in caves.
TL/DR
Basically, if you want to have the chance to become a Mars colonizer, apply on the site I hyperlinked and you may be chosen to undertake 7 years of training, being filmed for a reality show and then land on Mars 10 years from now.
Think about the poosy...you'd be required to begin the population.![[Image: banana.gif]](https://rooshvforum.network/images/smilies/new/banana.gif)
Then again, the equality feminist police would ensure that only ugly women with liberal arts degrees need go!

Dutch company ‘Mars One’ has launched an official selection program for volunteers from all nations for a reality show to fly, live and die on Mars.

The company invites anyone from anywhere in the world to fill out an online application for the departure, scheduled for 2022, and land in April 2023. As the technology for a return flight does not exist, it will be a one-way ticket, according to Mars One website.
“When that day comes there will be a memorial service and cremation ceremony, just like customs on Earth dictate.”
