Boonstock Festival 2013 , Gibbons, Alberta

I've just heard about this festival since last week. The date this year is Jun 27th to 30th.

The lineup seems to be a combination of both Dance/Techno and Rock, I only know 3 names on the lineup though, which are Eric Prydz, Benny Benassi and Limb Bizkit.

Overall, seems to be a pretty decent event.

The question is : Is it an easy environment to pull chicks?

I've never been but know of it, its popular. Whyteave, as the line up suggests, this festival attracts mostly washed up acts who are passed their prime, do you really want to pay money to see that old bum Fred Durst perform? Actually, if you can put up with the lame acts and to answer your question: Yes, it is an easy environment to pull chicks.

This is Etown we are talking about, the local women are notoriously skanky and you should be able to pull if you follow the standard outdoor music festival game rules, now I"m no expert as I've only been to a couple and am not really a fan for several reasons: getting covered in mud, over priced, bad logistics, etc. But I'll try to quickly break it down:

-Bring sun lotion and aloe vera: There's a chance you'll pass out naked under the hot summer sun, be prepared.

-Drink lots of liquid: Water, beer, coffee, etc. Don't get dehyrated, this will fuck with your game, dehydration can cause hallucination, which you'll likely be suffering from anyway due to all the shrooms you'll be eating and acid you'll be dropping, don't make matters worse.

-Accommodation: Its a three day event and you don't want to be stuck in a wack ass pup tent, so hit up Canadian Tire and get a decent tent, a five person, at least. I won't go into details here, but there's some other camping essentials (Coleman stove, cooler, etc) you will need, look them up.

-Ideally you won't even be staying in a tent, you'll have a proper RV rented for the weekend or a modified SHAGGIN' WAGON. Now you could go with the classic Volkswagon Hippy Van:

However a Ford Econoline or the trusty GMC Asto van will do.

Man, for an industrial shit hole city, Edmonton sure is attracting a lot of attraction on the RVF lately, must be all the transient Creeps and Bums (RIP King Ralph: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9iThXtMJ_a8) from down east moving there, what kind of monster did I create with the the oil sands thread?

BTW, Whyteave, have you banged the infamous UofA ROK troll yet?

Good luck and if there's any more questions about Etown that you or any of the Etown newbies need, go ahead, I'm here for you, young grasshoppers.
