Me gusta tus nalgas i believe is the correct phrase. although i'm not certain of this as i typically would say something along the lines of mami, andas bien...dime si andas sola? More or less means you are looking good, tell me if your here alone.(without boyfriend) as opposed to me gusta tus nalgas.

If you want to be really ridiculous, and you clearly don't speak spanish you can say, quien te regala tus nalgas...porque andas como una angelita. (Who gave you that ass, because you walk like an angel..obviously you can easily sub something different in for angel.)

I like that Lavidaloca, More native Spanish speakers need to step up and tell us Spanish noobs of the Gaming Lingo ....

@ Lothario I'm with you on liking reggaeton more than bachata, salsa and merengue. Salsa about 95% of the time is to songs that I would never listen to when not dancing salsa.

What's your take on Bembow my friend, I feel like my body's natural is too fast or in other more the speed of Reggeton and Dembow.

I.e. I personally use como andas, que bola asere (probably shouldn't use this unless you are talking to people who party frequently and I think this is Cuba specific.), que tal?

Keep those Spanish phrases coming and I do agree with you on Badoo , Not going to mess with badoo next time I go. I do have a foot in a professional network and I am going to try to milk it, If not Cold Approaches is where it is at....

So to all who have been to DR, do you raw dog or wrap up, or does it depend on the girl and if you think she is "good"?

Yeah more spanish pick up or even better, suave phrases would be very welcomed!

Btw, Is nalgas boobs or ass? I'm having a brain fart at this time and can't remember...

Me personally bro, I would always say wrap up, even though honestly sometimes I wanted to go raw.

I just didn't want to take the risk when I was there, even if the chick is "good" as you say, she could just be biding her time, and have a sneaky plan instore.

If I remember correctly nalgas is specifically ass-cheeks

I'd probably recommend wrapping it up especially if you don't have a lot of experience in the place your going be it DR, colombia, cuba because you'll likely be running through gringo followers/hookers 90% of the time the time. As time wears on and you learn more that number will substantially decrease and you can make better decisions. Trust me it isn't fun when your barebacking a girl regularily only to find out she was a hooker previously. The stress isn't worth it.

@ Vacancier nalgas is techniquely buttocks. But is the popular term used by foreigners to refer to ass. Personally I use culo as opposed to nalgas but again, speech differs by area that could be completely inappropriate in DR, I really don't know. Nalgas would certainly be the more appropriate term if you don't want to be rude. For example if you talk to a doctor you'd use nalgas and certainly not culo, culito etc.

tetas = tits

I'm sure there are dominican specific slang for all these words.

Alot of words seem to be made up in local media/ music that would only apply locally in these places.

If I say, Yo soy un descarao. Probably all the spanish speakers would say huh? what is he saying. In Cuba it's similar to mujeriego = womanizer.

Best bet is to look for a specific slang book for the country in which you are visiting.

@ Lothario - I don't really know anything about bembow music. I haven't heard of that. In Cuba the main areas of music are Cubaton (Reggaeton), salsa, bachata, pop, rap, trova. I really am not sure where bembow falls.

This is typically what I listen to in Cuba...in terms of reggaeton..

Gente de Zona - Yo te ensene
http://youtu.be/_4PCjowG0cA

Chacal Y Yakarta - raka raka
http://youtu.be/-Fbq-kcE88M

Los Desiguales , Gente de Zona - la pepilla

http://youtu.be/wu0JmeP5n7c

El Yonki - (This was the #1 hit in summer 2012 there. Personally I prefer the above reggaetoneros a lot more as do the vast majority of cubans but this song was huge. Pretty hilarious that a video that appears to be amateur filmed turns into the top hit in a country)
http://youtu.be/NWpVYWTEGGM

Osmani Garcia - http://youtu.be/8jl3G8H_1O4

In terms of salsa when it comes to salsa Charanga Habanera dominates the youth scene. (There are many others but they tend to attract an older crowd)

Charanga Habanera -La Suerte
http://youtu.be/9SKmkwcbQsQ

As to merengue I don't know much about the Cuban scene this is the only song I can think of and it's with a Dominican??? El cata with Alexander of Gente de Zona. (car fanatics will appreciate the car in this video)

http://youtu.be/SPlbRh8dMJ0

Bachata - I'm not a big fan of but Yulien Oviedo or Angeles de Bachata is probably the most popular in that music scene in Cuba.

All of these countries will have different popular musicians. For example J Balvin is very popular in Colombia. My friends had never heard of him despite having 17+ million hits on youtube. Super popular artists carryover though. For example Gangnam Style was huge in Cuba and surely DR, Colombia etc.

I think being able to dance may be slightly overrated atleast in Cuba. Probably 90% of songs are reggaeton with a couple salsa, merengue and bachata songs sprinkled in throughout the night. Learning merengue steps shouldn't take more than 10 minutes. Learn some merengue and then if you care to learn a bit of salsa / bachata but I think dancing is somewhat overrated. My bias could be in part due to the fact that I tend to attend every night either a concert or a cabaret show which transitions into a disco.

Really the best money / time spent if you want to improve your game / lifestyle in cuba, dr is to learn spanish. You can dance up the sweetest merengue, bachata, salsa anyones ever seen. But if you can't communicate your close rate will be far lower than the guy who can but can't dance particularily well.

I still haven't figured out how to embed, I tried to do it here but failed.

I will look into dembow music.

I thought the best word for "ass" was trasera. As for raw dogging....no comment.

In Santo Domingo at Hotel Napolitano (Has a casino and a Pool with a Terrace bar) right on Malecon. I looked at 3 different hotels and liked this one the best, It is Guest Friendly and many RVF members have made this Hotel their base of Operations.

You can just sit on the Terrace Bar next to the pool for good 10 -12 hrs a day and Play on Badoo or work the numbers you collected during the day and Invite girls to a Pool Party, They have Music all the time and Live music in the evening. [/u] I would say a good deal at $ 70 dollars a Night plus Tax.

In Santiago at Hotel Matum. also solid Logisticaly with a casino and two Clubs, PURE and something else, Other Night action is close by too, walk past the Momument to Perta del Sol restaurant /Bar. $ 60 a night.

In caberete : Hotel SansSoucci : I got a room with a Ocean View, I could have jumped from my Balcony to the Beach. Spectacular for $ 77 a night. 5 min walk on the beach to all the night action on beach.

My favorite place was that beach in Nagua, Picture in the first post but that's me, I like Tranquil Places and you can find what you like in that Big island.

You can narrow down where you want to stay depending upon your Budget and what you like to do, If it is just banging bishes, Santo Domingo will do it, Honestly the City got to my nerves ... that said .... you can spit game 24/7, may be that was the problem and i needed to take break from gaming and moved to calmer places in DR.

Improving Spanish......Don't know much about Spanish schools in DR but hanging out with Driver sure Improved my Spanish to another level. think about it, He is fully conversational in both English and Spainsh and Knows all the Local DR Pick Up Slang and will be happy to teach you while driving around....

Kazz keep us posted of your mischiefs in DR and South America.

How do I get in contact with the driver?

I'll be in Santa Domingo from May 17-20 for a bachelor party with my boys. I'm considering staying a few extra days when they all go back, unless you guys recommend moving on to Miami from there.

Lothario - thanks for the intro to thedriver. I don't have a full report as I got wifed up quick in SD to a cute college girl. Not sure if this was a good or bad idea as she would just show up to my hotel at night after her classes and would never accept money for anything. So at least there are some honest girls in the DR. Although, downside is she is sending me longing type messages asking when I am coming back.

Have been in Cabarete kitesurfing last few days but today reinjured my ribs from a snowboarding accident 3 weeks ago. I've been out in cabarete a few times at night but the local talent isn't like Santiago or SD. Sosua was fun for a night and hilarious to see the old geezers trying to dance with pros. Headed out to some clubs in Puerto Plata tonight. Patron has gone walkabout, hah.
