It's pretty gay to not see a movie because of politics.

Recently conservatives were pissed about Matt Damon's movie Elysium, complaining that it was Marxist and whatnot.

But the racist blogger Steve Sailer made a good case that the South African director Neill Blomkamp actually meant for the film to depict the end result of multiculturalism and immigration from the Third World.

Whatever. If you think a movie could be any good, go see it. People who judge books and films off their politics are philistines.

I've been getting a lot of tweets and facebook status updates from "white guilt" types letting me know they watched it and how good a movie it is.

Looks terrible. Yet another movie pushing for a racial divide in our country. You got Opera lying her ass off and is damn stupid enough to compare Emmitt Till to Trayvon Martin and has yet to apologize to Till's family about it. Then you have loser POS Jane Fonda, who should be in prison for treason.

Any conservative or libertarian who doesn't want to see this movie for any of the reasons above is something I can understand.

Regarding Jane Fonda, we have McNamara himself in his memoirs and documentary admitting Vietnam was a completely unjustified and futile. There's not much else anyone can do to justify that all of the high-profile objectors to that particular war, such as Muhammad Ali, were dead right.

Didn't realize she or Oprah Winfrey acted though. None of these actors are skilled, the production looks horribly inept (the shootout scene lol), and it's a pretty stupid plot.

I haven't been to a movie in over three years and it feels great. Everything that comes out of Hollywood these days is going to be more interested in social engineering than in providing entertainment. I am not going to pay my own money to wallow in US trash culture. I even care less about Batman than I do about Miley Cyrus.

I have to agree with you. Most of what I view is stuff from the net. I haven't even turned my television on in more than a month.

Same. They say it's 'powerful'. Sounds like White Guilt Porn to me.

The real guy it's based on said he had a 'happy' childhood in the south. This isn't 'powerful' enough for Hollywood. In the movie his mother is raped by an evil slave owner, and his father shot dead when he tries to confront the man about it. Not joking. Sounds awful. Fuck it.

the help

the butler

precious

Do I detect a trend here ? the butler and precious both directed-produced by LEE DANIELS with support from Oprah.

Lee Daniels - resident Hollywood Coon director - empowered to make movies showing blacks as subservient, the help, degraded, etc.......

I hear he{s woprking on a movie about MLK and his relationship with a prostitute.

Of course, much of this is an inside joke in the biz. These movies all come out while OBAMA is president.

Its social engineering-propaganda - designed to counter the effect of seeing a black man with his family as the most powerful man on the planet.

....keep the darkie in his place so to speak.

I won't watch the movie because every time I pay the 12$ for a ticket I end up getting pissed that I could have spent that money on something better. Like hookers or blow. [Image: tongue.gif]

I'd rather watch it for free. I'll wait until I see it on Netflix or ThePirateBay. No sense wasting money on rubbish. Not to mention, the entertainment industry can suck it.

The question should be asked:

Was it good enough that you weren't disappointed for paying for the ticket? After I started paying to see movies in the theatre, I stopped enjoying them. Movies were more fun as a kid when your parents are paying for it.

Only hyper-partisan minds choose not to go to a movie because of "political" issues.

I think Sailer is wrong about Elysium. No where is there really any overt mention of culture.

Also I have never understood the hate that movies that are for black people or about black people get.

Could not agree more.

If I am going to watch a movie, I want the movie maker to take me on a ride, not shovel bits and pieces of Politically Correct crap into the subplots of the movie.

The only movies I have seen recently in the theater are the latest installments of the Fast and Furious franchise, and the lastest James Bond.

Even these supposed 100% adventure/intrigue movies have social engineered shit shoehorned and spliced into predictably different transitional moments during the movie. I fucking hate it.

Why? Why is it so important for these seemingly unrelated political messages to be shoved down our throats every 7.5 minutes?

Does the studio believe that this is what people want to see?
Did the director have to include it because that is what the studio execs told him to do?
Is Hollywood just one huge cauldron of Zionistic overlords, programming the masses in micronistic incraments?
(no, I don't want to fucking get into a debate about Zionism or any tin hat related conspiracy theories... I am just looking at the executives from the major studios and making one huge assumption that I have no proof for. But Goddam, there is a massive amount of plausible evidence)

but yeah. I don't ever rush to go to the movies.

You sir, are CORRECT.

Hollywood is largely about social engineering and proramming the masses.

and yes it is intentional. They take their orders. While the 'Zionists' run the day to day, they take their orders too from the very top.

The proof is in the massive amount iof propaganda in the movies - to a thinkng person it is obvious - its just that most people do not want to believe that one group of people sits around planning on how to manipulate anhd control others ..... using the power of media.
