Yup,

if not before - most certainly so after Rodman.

Kim is seen as essentially a god - the living representation of the North Korean people and state.

For him to be seen so relaxed and essentially giddy at being around Rodman is a gigantic DHV for Rodman (and by extension those kind sorta like him).

Bumped into Rodman on the street once in Chicago maybe 2.5 years ago (it was daytime and dude was very cordial, he responded with a "what's up brotha" when I said "what's up Dennis". Good to see the brotha back on the world stage even if it is with an infamous figure. I know he's been through a lot, and his ex-wife has been taking this brotha to the cleaners for that child support. Don't forget, this king of NBA rebounds once was married to Carmen Electra and prolly snapped that in half. Pretty sure he bedded Madonna too. His tally is prolly wayy too high to even keep track of. This guy is a legend.
