Just wanted to share a tip for Avianca for those of you who are in Colombia or plan to be in the country
Most of you likely know that if you search via the U.S Avianca site, its Gringo prices for inter-Colombian flights
But if you search via Colombian site, its way cheaper (i.e $75 vs $140 u.s site)
BUT you cant book with a non Colombian credit card. I couldnt anyway
Far as I know,
When you book with Avianca at their office, they charge you about $14 service charge (as do travel agents) and when you're doing a bunch of 1ways in the country, it adds up.
There's an option to pay at a Banco de Colombia I just learned
You just issue a coupon, take it to the Bank and pay the amount on screen
Very easy
