Look at the response times. Look at his short, quick responses. We should all strive to be as high value as JR Smith.

Here's the link to the Deadspin story.

Nowadays, NBA playera routinely farm out texting duties to their entourage. They tell them "How dirty can you get her?" and then just show up to collect their prize.

Response times are a cancer for me if I drink too much. However, this guy could have answered her before she said anything and he'd still get to give "the pipe". Shes a senior in high school and hes in the fucking NBA. Definitely need to text more like him, though.

According to the article she is a high school senior. I bet her parents are proud of the way she spends her free time on the net.

On Howard Stern they were discussing how Magic Johnson would keep a velvet rope outside of his bedroom in his mansion. His buddies would talk up getting past that rope and in his bed like it was the most exclusive club in LA. Apparently, it was lol.

This has been running amuck in the NBA for quite some time.

That's fame not game. There's nothing cute or witty in his texts. She just wants in on the party.

Exactly. He can only be that sloppy and brazen because he's both rich and famous. Copy his lines and see if they work.

Then copy this one: "Is that a good book?"

Which yields better results?

I agree. I just meant when you have an inherent advantage, like gaming a girl you're more attractive than or knowing she already is really into you.

Short texts
Long wait times before responding

Those are the two pros you can derive from that message exchange.

Aside from that though, if you're a baller in NBA, it shouldn't be too hard to get pussy in the first place.

Agreed that reproducing the text exchange would not work for anyone here, but this does show that Smith has game. Namely two components of bulletproof inner game. He's got that I don't give any fucks whatsoever attitude combined with the bitches ain't shit mindset. Not every celebrity has that. There are plenty of famous dudes whose behavior betrays a crippingly beta heart. Robert Pattinson comes to mind. I doubt that he would ever text any variation of "You trying to get the pipe?" to a groupie.

Smith's not giving you an effective step-by-step process to get ass, but he is giving you a reminder of the basic inner beliefs necessary for real success.

100% natural aloof game right there.

It is critical to getting laid, but there's only so much u can glean from a mans texting strategy.

I think this is exactly how you should text. I'm not a big believer in trying to create attraction through texts, aloof is the best you can do. Spending tons of time trying to improve attraction is a waste. Could be better spent on improving the first impression when you get the number on another girl.

I agree with both: he does have game, and no, it wouldn't work for us. The general asshole-ish spirit and short, delayed responses are good, but being a total dick is overboard and will blow up in the face of those men who try it without significant advantages like fame.

Positive vibe and cocky-funny works 90% of the time ...even over text. I'd never ask a new girl if she wants the pipe. After you've hit it a few times you can get away with it. I've said way worse shit to fuckbuddies and they just laugh while their girlfriends sit there horrified.

It usual ends with

Friend: "Why do you hang out with this guy?"

Fuckbuddy: "He's really nice. You just have to get to know him".

What this does is build some love/hate between me and her friends. I'll end up hitting it somewhere down the line.

An NBA player does not need game to get chicks, they are already crawling over each other to get at them.

Money = Power = Girls

True. We all should try to become NBA players!

Problem is less then 0.000001% of us will get there.
