anybody watch this show? I'm learning a thing or two from Harvey Specter. Reminds me of Ari Gold from Entourage, just not as loud.

Yeah it's a good show. Harvey is a great role model. Some solid eye candy on there as well, but Mike Ross is a huge beta bitch that continues to make me cringe while watching it.

Ultimate display of alpha and beta. Mike does need to bang Rachel ASAP but so far so bad

It's one of my favorite shows over the last few years.

It's funny how they dropped Mike Ross's super powers in Season 2 and it became a much much better show.

Suits is the only series on TV that I follow right now. Harvey is definitely the man but I'm afraid that as the show gains in popularity and USA tries to appeal to a wider audience, they'll eventually soften Harvey's character the way Barney Stinson and Ari Gold were in the last few seasons of their respective shows. Even though How I Met Your Mother is still on the air, it is unwatchable from my point of view, especially after they had Barney fall for that fat chick on the basis of her "personality" last season.

But yeah. Harvey never looses his cool. It's the best tv show out there. I love the way harve approaches life, though Mike is the beta balancing out harvey.

IMO Mike does some stupid stuff and gets too involved in things he shouldn't, messing it up most of the time and making things harder for Harvey.

It was weak compared to Season 1 ending. Funny how the things mentioned earlier in this post happens. 1) Mike mans up 2) Harvey losses his cool and becomes Jessica's bitch (very end bathroom scene)

Now its time for Burn Notice

Anyone remember the few episodes about the gender discrimination cases, all the women (bitchy blonde chick for one) would make a big deal about everything etc. Well then that hot chick Harvey was banging was acting out by attacking his firm just to get closer to him and get his alpha love? She ends up giving everything up for him. Such is the power of alpha. I thought this show was going soft, but then in the end yhey imply the women act out because they want the love and attention of an alpha like Harvey.

Where's that gif of Charleston Heston laughing meniacally. That was me watching this last episode.

Damn.. Although things are reversing and Mike is manning up.. I became disilusioned (is that the word?) with him. Why did he betray Harvey, who put him where he is? That is not good nor right.

Just finished watching both seasons..One of my first jobs there was a secretary who looked excatly like Rachel ( body as well)..I hooked up with her but her pussy had the worst stench i have ever experienced..but since she was so hot i gave her a pass and though it might just of been a one off.. went to bang the second time and the stench was still there maybe even worse..nearly vomited..had to stop seeing her....had bitter sweet memories while watching the show ...

Suits (TV Series)

anyone watch the first ep from season 3?

Anyone get the feeling the show is getting betafied? especially Harvey? in the first two seasons it was clear that business, keeping fit, style and fast cars were Harvey's priorities....picking up women wasn't his primary focus...he would bang if the opportunity presented itself but it wouldn't be his ultimate goal....

whereas in the first episode of season 3, he is chasing after Scottie, even though she tried to screw him over a couple of times ('to get close to him' hamsterism) - anyone get the feeling that the female populace might have influenced this? Mike has already been betafied by Rachel (Jenny was hotter IMO) and now they are working on Harvey...

Yeah, I think it was an okay episode. I am not sure if I like the new direction of the show just yet.

The show will always be “beta”. Let me explain. The guy behind the show Aaron Korsh was also a writer for Everybody Loves Raymond, one of the most beta shows ever. It’s really no surprise that the show is now moving towards relationships and one of the main storylines during the first two seasons was Mike and Rachel. Harvey is still fine in my opinion but it is inevitable that they will put him in a relationship with either Donna, Scottie or his actual wife (I forget her character’s name on the show).

That’s not really true. He actually chose to send her to London. You can’t say that he is chasing after her when he chooses to send her away. He met her at the airport to ask her for information on Catelyn Stark, not to chase her. The female population is going to influence this, there is no doubt about that.

I have already told you my thoughts on Harvey and I slightly disagree but Mike was always beta. The fact that he was willing to tell the biggest secret of his life which could land him, Harvey, and Jessica in jail to bang Rachel was pathetic (not to mention cause the entire firm to shut down). It boggled my mind that he was ready to trust a woman who is not even his girlfriend.

Another thing that caught my eye was that the two owners of the newly merged firm are: a black woman, and a gay man. It really doesn’t get any better than that.

I hope they can do a mix of season 1 where a lot of the episodes were standalone and Harvey and Mike just solved cases. It’s good to have a continuing storyline (similar to season 2) but I don’t want the show to become a drama about relationships. Let’s see what happens.
