I was watching Mel Gibson's What Women Want, and he starts off as a successful red pill man, with a good advertising job and is skilled at selling to both men and at seducing women. Then he gets in an accident and changes for the worst getting all emotional and at the end of the movie needing his new gf to "save him from himself".

I can't believe I watched the whole thing, got me really interested at the beginning.

You've just described every movie with a red-pill protagonist: Wedding Crashers, Hitch, etc. etc. They castrate him sometime during the movie to mollify the hamsters in the audience.

I've been in the "there's no way I'm ready for that" seat with some of the more experienced players I know.

I've also been in Chaz's seat with some more newbie friends of mine who seem hesitant to fully embrace the game.
