Badra was most interested in a creature like me, a woman in her mid-30s who remained unmarried.

The divorce rate for India is among the lowest in the world, right around 1%.

“Have you had boyfriends before this current one?” Badra asked me.

“Yeah.” I attempted to fix my wild sea-blown hair in the mirror.

“Many?”

“Sure.” I looked at Badra in the mirror.

“How many?”

“I don’t know. 100?”

“What? 100? What are you saying?” Badra turned me around to face her.

“Oh my God. Will he ever marry you? How could he?” She slapped her forehead, keeping her hand on her head.

- hypergamy/feminine imperative is cross cultural. This total Indian stranger is counseling this woman on how to ensnare some man.

Hilarious, she's probably so proud of herself too!

You know that 100 boyfriends doesn't include the 300 random dicks she just happened to suck in her life or the 200 guys she fucked on vacation or hookups that she doesn't count.

Imagine the stories this Indian woman tells all her friends about american whores: "I'm not kidding, Indira, this chunky american whore has 100 boyfriends! We burned the sheets on her bed after she left, they were covered with std's! I made Padmesh put towels down wherever this whore sat in the apartment and we burned those too! We had to move just to be sure we won't catch anything!"

Here is the quote:

You shouldn't let it get to you, Indian brains just work differently. There's no shame in having had multiple sexual partners, even if its in the hundreds; the right guy would realize that. Great piece, really enjoyed it. [Image: smile.gif]

I didn't see this as the Indian woman being hypergamous. This counseling was more out of sympathy, in that here's this woman in her mid-30s, and is unmarried. She wanted to see her married, so she counseled her in the best way she could. Remember, in her own culture, she couldn't imagine trying to upgrade from her husband - they marry who they're set up with, and they don't divorce. Also, since the slut told her that basically American men expect that their potential wives won't be virgins, and have already slept with countless other men (though they may not divulge the true notch count), she wasn't really telling her anything she wasn't already going to do - namely lie or withhold regarding information about her past.

Here are her "author's photos" from her Web site. It looks like she's "well-traveled" in every sense of that phrase.

Reminds me of an older, dark-haired Julianne Moore.

Note: Moore is in her 50s.

Girl power my friend. Girl power and solidarity.

She makes sure to give the American chick counsel, OUTSIDE OF THE EARS OF PRYING MEN. That's why the american chick gets cornered in the bathroom, and not discussed @ the bar, in front of the chick's Husband.

That said, I don't have anything against a girl having had many boyfriends before, provided that she learned something from it (not to be a slut, didn't lose femininity, etc) and that she learned it soon enough (not after 25). Of course, those two simple criteria alone eliminate 90% of women with high partner counts.

At least if she told you you had a huge dick, it'd mean something.

I find that funny considering everything I've heard from Indians (have worked with a shit-ton of them in Toronto) is that an Indian woman is considered a lost cause or that something is wrong with her if she isn't married by her early 20s. One girl I know (born/raised in Canada) was arranged and married just before 20 years of age...though things are a touch more lax for her younger sister(s).
