Young Turks call Michael Karolchyk a 'doucebag for telling the truth

The legend from the fattitude videos came under attack in this video, its quite old but I thought I'd share it.

From what I've seen of these 'Young Turks' I surmise they are sort of 'trendy' liberal types? Correct?

They're spot on, this woman's weight has absolutely nothing to do with it. The guy is a douchebag.

I disagree, a person of her standing and position shouldn't be overweight. I've watched a few of the Young Turks videos, they're very popular as an alternative news channel and they consistently berate anything remotely red-pill or even slightly center-right. The male presenter always defers to the female presenter as if constantly searching for approval and permission.

Why stop there? Why not say a person in that position cannot be female or non white?

If she's qualified to do the job she's qualified to do the job, her weight has sweet fuck all to do with it. Some people take this whole 'red pill' ideology a bit too far as if it's fashionable to do so. Simple decency is lost.

No, her position is Surgeon General of the United States, therefore responsible as the figurehead of health etc. So, her being overweight is a dreadful example and basically projects that it is OK to be overweight.

She's in the medical field and she's too fat. End of. It sends the wrong message.

It's like government officials coming out and saying we should all pay our taxes as we're all in it together but then getting found out for tax avoidance. Oh. Oh wait...

It sends a bad message.

However, do you take a doctor less seriously if he smokes?

In the unlikely scenario where I see a doctor in his personal time smoking, then yes, I would have doubts about his professionalism.

If you walked into the GP's office and see a fucking biffa sitting there struggling to breathe himself and sweating profusely who then tells you that you need to lower your blood sugar levels, watch your cholesterol and get regular exercise, would you think he is in the position to give you those instructions? Would you respect that? I'd ask to see someone else.

That's very hamsterish of you my man. You've more posts than me and have been here longer, and I do usually defer to a longer standing member, but race and gender are natural, without choice. Being fat is a choice. A choice she, as a health professional, should definitely avoid!

I don't think it matters unless she starts spewing a bunch of fat acceptance "healthy at any weight" bullshit. Adele is a bigger (heh) problem as a role model fat enabler because people actually pay attention to celebrities.

I bet Karolchyk has great game. He's probably fucking a lot of the girls he reduces.

I usually like the TYT, but the only reason they are sticking up for that fat woman is because they think the Karolchyk is a mysogonist and she's left.

In response to this, the candidate should release her diet and exercise regime to the public in the same way that taxes were request of Romney etc.

Actually, it would be cool if the head of treasury lived in a box.

The internet levels the playing field. A New York Times editorial has less validity to me than a trusted blogger, and the Surgeon General is just a fat woman whose advice I'll pass over in favour of say, Mark from Mark's Daily Apple, a 60 year old guy who looks like he's a 40 year old athlete.
Sure the NYT and the Surgeon General have power and influence, but that's not only unrelated but in fact negatively correlated to the value of their opinions.
As for the Young Turks, standard issue liberals and blue pill all the way.

Dr Johnson rumbles with the RawGod. And lives to regret it.

I'm pretty sure they wouldn't say the same thing if she was a smoker.

Oh, and if you're fat, you're too lazy to work out. End of story. Most fat people have some of the best genetics for building muscle. You know what burns fat? Muscle, that's what burns fat.

Lol, this guy gets paid to "demean" and "belittle" people by throwing cupcakes at women who are on the treadmill. I like this guy.

Women defend fat chicks because they don't want competition.

the male presenter of the young turks is more of an annoying fag than piers morgan, and i have a very low opinion of piers. that cunt in the video is unsufferable too.

how could anyone not see the problem with a fat surgeon general? how do people debate against this with a straight face?

The "You don't know me" counterargument gets pretty fucking old.

They use it at least three times in the same video; I find it strange that they never use the "you don't know" his lifestyle to justify why he is what he is.
