Midwest guys its all social circle and caveman game. I grew up in parts similar and dudes got a ton of pussy they just did not "work" for it. They just go shit faced drunk and hooked up with girls in and around their social circles.

Speaking of western ND, I talked to some railroad contractors that worked out there. They had to stay in the railroad's own man camp as what little lodging they could find was $500/night.

The trick to make money out there is to find something you can do that doesn't require a storefront, building, etc.

It's common in the mining areas in Western Australia, for foreigner backpacker chicks to do this.

Checked a dating site up in Fargo and Bismark. Could see the Norwegian influence. Probably to similar to Minnesota. Not tons of girls though, which is probably due to well, being smaller towns.
